Sandhya pov

I got downstairs after getting ready for Jyoti's sangeet ceremony .

My little baby was running around wearing her anklets that Papa has got for her .
They jingled as she ran around making her stomp her foot in order to Jingle them more.
Papa was running behind her clapping his hand .

Shrishti picked up Amu and twirled her around making her chortle.
Let's get Going everybody....or we will get late and I don't want to upset Jyoti anymore....I said and Papa nodded .
Mummaaa ...Amu stretched her arms out towards me Asking me to take her and I grabbed my baby in my arms .

My Amu will dance today.....I said and she swayed in my lap standing up showing me her dance as Shrishti played the music in the car.

We shortly reached the venue and I met Jyoti who hugged me cheerfully and kissed Amu's cheek and Amu wipped it off immediately making me chuckle while Jyoti made a pout .
She won't let any stranger kiss her cheek . She did that to me too during initial period and I used to get so jealous of Vardhan for this and he knew it well .

Soon the groom and his Family came too and the function began .
Amu was enjoying herself but she won't go to anyone if someone comes towards her ..
She would run into me instantly.

Papa and Maa left early after a few performances .
Surya held Amu in his arms as it was time for my performance.
Yupp she is very familiar and comfortable with Surya . In fact she calls him "Suya ".
I tried to teach her to call Surya uncle but she stuck with calling him by his name only because Vardhan and I  call him by his name .
Shrishti was recording my dance in her phone.

Amu cheered seeing me dancing and clapped her hands making me smile .
As others joined the floor I took Amu in my arms and Dance with her .
I got thirsty and had a cold drink .

Amu slept on our way back home and I was tired too because of dancing continuously for 3 hrs .
But I enjoyed it fully ..

I changed Amu's clothes and covered her in a blanket before getting myself into my night clothes.

It was around 1 in the night . I thought to call him once but what if he might have slept .
I decided to check on him in morning and got into the comforter with my Baby .

I woke up a little late and my body was paining and my throat hurt too .
I think I have got sore throat.

I took a bath and sauntered downstairs.
Amu was being fed by Papa and I smiled seeing them both busy with each other .
Shrishti might have left for her college.

Maa smiled at me and asked me to have breakfast.
I had some hot tea to sooth my aching throat and it helped a bit .
Sandhya I am taking Amu with me to school ...Papa informed me .
But she won't let you work and would disturb you ....I said in my hoarse voice.

Did you have something chillled yesterday...Papa asked me and I smiled sheepishly.
You take some rest and Vidya give her some honey and ginger to soothe her throat...he said to Maa to which she nodded .

And you don't have worry about Amu. She will enjoy today with her Naanu ...he said and Amu bobbed her head in Yes with her mouth full of food making me chuckle.

I packed some necessary items in a bag for Amu and gave it to Papa and they both left for the school along with Surya .

I helped Maa with some work but then she sent me to my room asking me take proper rest.
I nodded at her and came to my room .
I was feeling bored so I called my dear husband who himself has not checked on his wife and daughter till now .
He must be on  his way to office ...I guessed looking at the time .
