First Broken Bone-Tom Holland

Your POV

I was at my cheer practice and I got a little nervous about being the flier today. I was scared I might tumble. " Hey Y/n/n, you okay." my coach asked

I smiled over at her. " Yea, I think I'm just nervous about being a flier." I admitted

She gently placed a hand on my shoulder. " Don't worry you're going to do amazing."

She then told us all to line up which made me stand next to Jess. I smiled and listened to the coach explain everything. " All right guys I want about four of you in a circle kind of and the flier in the middle."

I took a deep breath to try and keep the nervousness. " Are you okay? You just seem nervous." Jess whispered

I let out a nervous chuckle, " Is it that obvious." I asked

She laughed, " A little bit, but don't worry okay. We're all right here." She told me

I gave her a smile to thank her. " Are you ready?" She questioned

I nodded and held on to Grace and Shelby's shoulders for support. I jumped up on their hands and got into position. They pushed me up to the point I was no longer on the ground and panicked for a split second, but calmed down some, but the next thing I knew was not feeling many hands grab me instead my ankle hit the ground. I let out a slight whimper. " Omg! Y/n, Are you okay? I don't know what happened like I grabbed you but you slipped...."

I glanced up, " Jess, I appreciate that, but could you get the coach please." she immediately nodded her head and rushed to get the coach.

" Y/n/n, what happened?" she asked super worried

" Um...I'm not sure I slipped and landed on my ankle." I said wincing when I moved some

She nodded and helped me stand and limp to her office while she went to go find my dad. I was sitting on the couch in her office with an ice pack resting on my ankle waiting for the coach and my dad.

It didn't take long when I heard my dad's voice in the hallway. They both then walked in the room. " Omg honey, are you okay?" my dad said

I felt my eyes watering knowing he was here now. He immediately wrapped his arms around me. " Dad, it hurts." I mumbled into his shoulder

I felt him rub my back. " I know Bub. I'll take you to the hospital."

He pulled away and stood up and helped me stand and lean against him. " Get better Y/n." coach said

" Thank you." I whispered

He helped me to his car and drove us to the hospital.

Tom's POV

I made sure to keep checking on Y/n. " You doing okay kiddo."

She gave me a nod, but I could tell she was still in some pain. I pulled into the parking lot and turned my car off to help her get to the door.

When we got through the doors, I walked us over to the front desk.

" Hi, my daughter here broke her ankle." I explained

She smiled over at me. " I'll let you know when we get someone who is available." she spoke softly

I thanked her and helped Y/n/n over to a chair.

I was sitting waiting while Y/n was resting on my shoulder. I finally heard my name being called. I gently woke her up so we could get her ankle checked out.

Your POV

After x-rays they put me in a room to get things ready to wrap my ankle.

" So mind telling me how this happened." the nurse questioned softly

I looked down, " Um....Cheer practice."

She smiled some to help ease my anxiety. " I see, okay which color wrap do you want?" She softly questioned

I looked at all the colors and picked y/f/c. She picked it up. " Good choice."

I softly smiled and watched her work. I felt my dad rubbing my back some to help me relax more.

Tom's POV

I knew Y/n/n was still nervous about having the cast so I helped her by rubbing her back some just waiting for the nurse to finish.

" So I'm going to need you to stay off this foot for about 2 weeks, then come back to get it checked." she told us

I nodded to the instructions, still rubbing small circles along Y/n/n's back.

'mini time jump'

We were back in the car and I was driving back to the apartment. " Are you doing okay, honey." I questioned

She nodded , " Yea, I'm doing okay."

I smiled and continued driving home.

Your POV

I saw that we arrived at the house and I let out a breath of relief. I heard my dad laugh some before turning the car off and helping me out of the car.

We both slowly walked at my pace so it would be easier for me, I leaned against my dad when he was moving to open the door.

" All right let's get you over to the couch." he softly said

I smiled and helped him get me to the couch. Once I was comfortable he gently elevated my ankle some. He then looked over at me. " Need anything else pumpkin."

I shook my head resting my head against one of the pillows. He smiled and gave my hand a quick squeeze. " We'll call me if you need me. Get some rest."

I nodded and got a little more comfy and watched my dad go to the kitchen. I then let my eyes flutter shut.
