MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR WAS ANY CHANCE KYLIAN HAD FREE TIME. So, that would be holidays. And when we took our trips, we made it a rule that we would be work-free.
No calls, texts, emails. Nothing.
It allowed us to have our special time together and that's what was important to us. Between his work schedule and mine, it was rare that we had a week at most together.
We landed in Fiji not too long ago and we were settling on the private beach down from our villa. I sat under the cabana, soaking up the sun. Kylian dribbled a football around the sand of course, he couldn't help himself.
"Hi ma belle," he smiles as he plops down on the bed. "Hi," I softly smile as he crawls up toward me. "Are you enjoying yourself?" I ask him. "Of course, whenever I'm with you I'm enjoying myself," he smiles.
I run my fingers over his hair, "It's so beautiful here, peaceful," I listen to the silence.
Seagulls chirped in the background, the waves slapped the shore. It was like white noise and it calmed me.
