I WALK AROUND IN MY WHITE KNIT DRESS AS FAMILY AND FRIENDS FILTER INTO LAVAR'S HOME. "Ma, you need any help?" Melo asks as I waddle around, "No, I'm fine," I huff as I make my way outside, "Here," he grabs the basket of cookies from my hands.

"I told you I had it," I grumpily cross my arms. "Don't kid yourself," he kisses the top of my head.

"Everyone grab your pins," I announce with the microphone as people lined up. The theme was white with pastel blue and pink accents, today Melo and I would find out the gender of our first baby.

I looked around at the beautifully decorated backyard as I grab my boy pin and put it on my dress. "You know, it's going to be a girl," LaMelo tells me as he grabs a girl's pin. "Don't be too sure," I shake my head.

"A father's tuition is always right!" Lavar loudly speaks as he grabs a boy pin, "A mother is always right, after all, she is carrying it!" Tina grabs a girl.

I look at both of them, "They don't know what they saying," Melo shakes his head.

We wait for everyone to get there and we mingle, "Are you sure you think it's a boy?" Winnie touches my belly, "Trust me, I know what I'm saying," I shake my head. "I think it might be a girl," she laughs as she hugs me tightly.

"See mama, they all think it's a girl," LaMelo drags me toward Jordan and Kyle. "I told her it's a girl too, she's in denial," Winnie walks over to Kyle. "Daddy's intuition is off," I wrap my arms around Melo, "I don't know Y/N," everyone shakes their head.

"You guys are just a bunch of haters," I walk away from them.

"Y/N!" Lavar wraps his arm around me, "Hello," I wrap my arm around his waist. "We were just telling your parents how we think it's a girl!" Tina smiles, "Speak for yourself little lady, this is a boy!" Lavar laughs loudly. "Thank you!" I cheer.

"We think it's a boy too," my mom and dad smile, "Well, then let's go find out," I smile.

"If everyone would gather by button, they're going to announce the gender," Lavar says over the microphone.

Everyone rushes and cheers as we get over there. Our parents stood front row as Melo got up on the stand, "Help me," I hold my hands out. He laughs as he picks me up, placing me on there.

He wraps his arm around me tightly, his hand resting on my butt. "Are you ready?" I smile as I look up at him. "It's a girl, I know it is," Melo smiles.

"Here we go!" I shout. Everyone begins their five-second count down and when we get to one, we slam our hand on the button.

Blue dust shoots out behind us, "Yes!" I scream as tears stream down my face. "You were right!" Melo smiles as he swings me through the air. "Oh my god, a boy," he smiles brightly.

"Let's go!" Lavar and Zo shout as they jump up and down, "A boy," I choke on my tears.

Melo leans down, kissing my stomach. "My boy," he mumbles.

Our friends rush up to us, engulfing us in hugs. "Maybe you were right," Winnie laughs as she hugs me tightly, "I told you guys! You didn't believe me," I laugh as I wipe my tears. "Congratulations, you're going to be amazing parents," Jordan kisses the top of my head.

"We owe it to you," Melo daps him up, "Ah yes, that's right. His name better be Jordan then," he laughs, "Will you settle for a middle name?" I question, "Fine," he laughs.

I step down and my mom and dad rush to me, "Congratulations honey, I can't wait until he gets here," my mom rubs my stomach. "Me neither," I smile.

"Let's go lil ma!" Zo runs up to us, "Congratulations Y/N!" Gelo smiles, "I don't wanna hear anything from you team girls," I point my finger at Gelo. "It's all love," Gelo pulls me into a hug.

"Y'all hogging my baby, give me her," Melo comes up to us, "Congratulations big father!" Lavar shakes Melo.

After we get congratulations from everyone, Melo and I sit inside for a second. Soaking everything up, "Elias," he kisses my stomach. "What?" I laugh.

"Elias, it was the first boy name I saw and loved," Melo admits, "So you were searching for boy names?" I chuckle. "Maybe," his big brown eyes meet mine.

I lean down kissing his plump lips. "Elias Jordan Ball?" I question, "It's perfect," he smiles.
