Embarrassed with the situation Wu Xie just kept on rambling.

"I did even completely forget that I had that scrape. Well until I ripped it open again a few minutes ago, but that's not important. It stung like hell but it's fine again, the bleeding should have stopped by now and I am going to be careful from now one. I promi-"

Feeling Qilings fingers under his chin, Wu Xie just stopped mid speech. An opportunity Qiling used to gently put his thumb on Wu Xies lips – effectively keeping him from saying another word. And if it weren't for his bodies reflexes to breath he probably wouldn't have either.

"No"

It was Qilings decisive answer but to what exactly he was unsure. The only thing Wu Xie was sure of was that if the finger on his lips hadn't made him stop already he would have become silent now.

Qiling was staring him down, in his own way. Other probably didn't know this, but those somewhat cool eyes that were staring at Wu Xie at the moment are Qilings own kind of thick headedness. Those - you know what I want and I am going to quietly stare at you until you give in and allow me to have my way.

Wu Xie hadn't seen those eyes very often. Only probably more often than most other people, considering that – as far as he knew – Qiling often just didn't care enough to push his way. Why he did this time Wu Xie didn't know.

What he knew for sure on the other hand was, that he could never 'win' against Zhang Qiling if he had made up his mind. So he swallowed what else had been on his tongue. Briefly noticing, that Qiling was still gently holding his wrist in the other hand.

He opened his mouth slightly only to feel the finger on his lips even more. Yes, he had forgotten that it would be difficult to reply like that.

For a moment he was amazed at Qilings skill, during all this time he had always handled Wu Xie very careful and gentle. Yet, he had made it all in a way that Wu Xie ended up exactly where he had wanted him to be. He had never shouted at him before, or even excessively pushed or pulled at him - something even his uncle did sometimes.

Just then Wu Xie thought that if he now gave a small lick to Qilings finger – would he be surprised? What face would he make?

He could almost feel himself trying, blushing red. No, pulling his tongue back before it was too late to undo it. Now wasn't the time to try out how cheeky Qiling would allow him to be.

Instead Wu Xie nodded his head just slightly to let the other know that he under stood – he would just let Qiling do what he wanted.

"The poison is in the mist." Qiling said, as he slowly pulled his finger back. "It is the most important thing right now to make sure it won't excessively affect you. And we still know nothing about bacteria, mushrooms that might be here. We can't allow it to get infected in anyway."
