Lights start to crackle in a cavern in Santa Prisca.

Black Beetle is on one side of the cavern, and Deathstroke appears from the other side. They nod at each other and both of them step aside for The Reach and The Light. Tigress enters, walking beside Kaldur.

The Head Scientist and The Reach's Ambassador stand in the center with Vandal Savage, Manta, and Ra's Al Ghul.

"Ambassador," Savage greets.

"Savage," the Ambassador speaks.

"As head of security for The Reach, I must insist, that no masks be worn at the summit," Black Beetle demands, pointing directly at Manta.

"Simply because you insist is no guarantee," Manta replies, glaring at the Beetle.

"Manta, if you wouldn't mind. After all, we are among friends," Ra's tells him.

Manta groans before taking off his mask, revealing his face. Tigress and Deathstroke also remove their masks.

Tigress clutches the glamour charm in her hand. "We are so in over our heads," she whispers to Kaldur.

"Shh," The Atlantean shushes her.

"Satisfied?" Ra's asks the Beetle with a grin.

Black Beetle grunts turning around and standing beside the Ambassador.

"Excellent. Then with these formalities out of the way..."

"Let us begin," Savage finishes the Ambassador's sentence.

"And the rest of The Light? Won't they be joining us?" The Ambassador questions.

"Our more public members are occupied conducting damage control to mitigate your recent defeats," Ra's states, causing the Ambassador's eyes to narrow.

"And in any case, we are sufficient," Savage adds.

"Fine. I know you called this summit but The Reach has come with grievances against The Light. Please explain how the young Earth champions were allowed access to the Bialyan scarab temple under your control?" The Ambassador asks in annoyance.

"If I may respond," Kaldur speaks politely.

"No, you may not. Manta, keep your whelp meat silent," Black Beetle orders.

"Beetle, your insolence grows progressively less...charming," Manta remarks.

"My friends, I think we can all agree that in recent days, no one has done more, sacrificed for more, for both The Light and The Reach than Kaldur'ahm. That is why he was entrusted with security for this summit. And why he's entitled to a voice here," Savage states.

"Of course. He may speak," the Ambassador allows, holding up a hand to stop Black Beetle from chiming in.

"Thank you, Ambassador," Kaldur responds gratefully.
