August and I have been out all day planning Ava's 1st birthday party. It's suppose to rain today so it's super dark. Me and August wanted to be normal so we drove ourselves around today.
The first stop was the decorators office. Her name is Ashen.
Ashen- So guys, the party is being held at y'all house right?
Aug- Correct.
Ashen- Ok so the theme is butterfly garden?
Me-*Smiles* Yes. She loves butterflies.
Ashen-*Chuckles* I ordered some stuff. You'll be able to see everything the day before the party. It's going to be fantastic.
Me- Don't forget I want real butterflies and flowers..
Ashen- I got you. *Smiles*
I looked at August.
Me- Ready?
Aug- When ya are.
Me- I'm ready.
Aug- Ightt.
August helped me up. I shook Ashen hand.
Me- Thank You Ashen.
Ashen- No problem. Don't forget y'all can't stay at your house.
Me- Alright. *Smiles*
Ashen- Ok. Bye guys. Be safe.
Me- You be safer. *Chuckles*
Me and August walked out the building and he held the door open to his truck.
Me- Thank You.
Aug- Ya welcome.
We stopped at a red light. Some fans peeped us and started taking pictures. I waved and August smirked. We continued driving. August was holding my hand while he drove with the other.
Aug- How much is da flowas??
Me- For real flowers that's probably going to come out to be $30,000.
August looked over at me.
Aug- Fa flowas?
Me- They're real.
Aug- Wussup with plastic flowas?
Me- Ava is not going to have fake flowers at her party.
Aug- *Sighs* And da buttaflies?
Me- $100,000.
Aug- Ryan.
Me- It's a butterfly theme! She loves butterflies.
Aug- We coulda hung some from da ceilin. She ain't gone kno.
Me- It's her first birthday.
Aug- I kno dat. One she ain't gone rememba.
Me- Just get out the car.
Aug- Why we even at da jewelrey stoe?
Me- Because.
Me and August got out and walked in.
Me- Bobby!
Bobby- Ryan!
We hugged.
Me-Bobby this is my boyfriend August. August this is my custom jewelry designer Bobby.
They shook hands.
Me- I have work for you.
Bobby- What do you want now Ryan?
I laughed.
Me- Our daughter is turning one and I got her this Barbie doll.
I pulled the little Barbie doll out my purse.
Me- Can you add some diamonds onto her outfit?
Aug- Diamonds?
I looked over at August.
Me- Yes.
Aug- Ryan. On a doll?
Me- Yes.
Aug- She's one.
Me- I know.
Aug- I understand a diamond buttafly necklace but a doll??
Me- I already had one made out of gold.
Aug- Ightt. Do what ya want.
Me- Anyway Bobby, I want that to be done.
Bobby-*Smiles* Just give me a day. I got this.
Me- Alright. *Smiles* Bye Bobby.
Bobby- Bye Ryan.
Me- Come on August.
August and I walked out. Despite his madness he opened the door to the truck door for me.
Me- August are you seriously upset?
Aug- Ya act like she turning 16.
Me- It's my first kid. And she's turning one.. I want her party to be amazing.
Aug- How much da gold necklace cost?
Me- Just $3,000 and the Barbie is going to be $80,000. That's it. Let's just wait to see the whole total of the party.
Aug- Ightt.
The next stop was the cake shop. I'm having them make a three-layer pink cake with butterflies on it. On the sides there are about 100 cupcakes with butterfly rings. The cost of the cake is $300. Not bad right?
Aug- Cheapest thang out of da party.
Me-*Chuckles*
We went shopping for Ava some birthday presents. I know we spent about $12,000 on toys and clothes.
Aug- We done yet?
Me- We done August. *Chuckles*. Just run me by 7/11. I want a large slushy. For some reason I've been craving them.
August took me by 7/11 and I went into the store. People freaked I smiled and continued feeling up my large cup. I paid for it and left out the store. Of course paps were there. I just sipped my drink. I got in the car and August was adding stuff up.
Aug- Ok. $30,000 fa real flowas, $100,000 fa real buttaflies, $3,000 fa da gold necklace, $80,000 fa da diamond Barbie doll, $300 fa da cake and cupcakes, $12,000 fa da gifts we got hea. And Ashen is charging ya $8,000 jus fa hea but da decorations gon cost bout $7,000 aside from da flowas and buttaflies.
I kept sipping and nodded.
Me- So that's $240,300 in total. *Smiles* Not bad! Not bad at all.
Aug- Dats how much an average house cost.
Me- Well duh, I own a business for houses. *Chuckles*
Aug- All fa a one year old.
August started driving.
Me- Yep. My baby. *Smiles*
Aug- Dat slushy goin ta ya head.
I chuckled.
Me- I love you August.
Aug- ..I luh ya ta.
I smiled and grabbed his hand.
Me- Can we get a burger?
August looked over at me.
Aug- Ya always hungrey.
Me- Nah.
August pulled into McDonald's. He ordered my burger. We got it and made our way to my moms house.
I sipped my slushy and ate my burger.
