Y/N wasn't just like most girls. Her mother wasn't just like most mothers either. Hailee Steinfeld. That name.. millions of people knew it, heard about it a least once in their life. Hailee was Y/N's mother. It was hard to believe it since the age gap between them wasn't huge. 16 years old of difference. Yes, Hailee gave birth to Y/N at 16, when she was slowly getting famous. Hailee always had the support of her parents, brother, her whole family in this tough time. She wasn't alone but she felt lonely. Y/N's father was Hailee's first boyfriend but he left when he found out his girlfriend was pregnant. Y/N never heard about him and she never asked her mother about it either. Y/N always has been Hailee's protégée. It is completely normal, she's her daughter. The twenty eight years old woman always did her best to raise her child even though she was still acting and singing. She couldn't put her job on pause so she asked her family to take care of Y/N when she couldn't. Cheri, Pete and Griffin, Hailee's parents and brother, always loved helping the youngest member of their family —besides Y/N now.

Hailee's parents never spoiled Y/N so she could have a normal life, a life just like other kids. But Hailee, on the other hand, she couldn't help but spoil her little girl.

Hailee watched as Y/N's eyes lit up with excitement as they walked through the stables, surrounded by the gentle nickers and the smell of hay. Y/N had been talking non-stop about her favorite pony for months, sharing every detail about their rides and the deep bond they had formed. Hailee couldn't help but smile, knowing how much this meant to her daughter.

"Y/N, come here for a moment," Hailee called out with a twinkle in her eye. Y/N, who had just turned ten, eagerly skipped over to her mother, her face beaming with curiosity.

"What is it, momma?" Y/N asked, her eyes shining with anticipation. Hailee reached out to take Y/N's hands gently.

"You know how much you've always talked about your favorite pony at the club, right? The one you have such a special bond with?" she asked, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. Y/N's eyes widened in surprise.

"You mean Stardust?" she gasped, hardly daring to believe what she was hearing. Hailee nodded, her love for her daughter evident in her warm gaze.

"Yes, Stardust. I've been listening to you talk about him day in and day out, and I've seen how happy he makes you. So, for your tenth birthday, I have a special surprise for you." Y/N's heart raced with excitement as Hailee led her to a nearby stable. And there, standing before her, was a pony that seemed to radiate pure magic. He was a beautiful creature, about 150 cm at the withers, with a chestnut coat and kind eyes that mirrored Y/N's own.

Y/N couldn't contain her joy, her hands flying to her mouth in disbelief. "Is this... is this for me?" she stammered, her voice filled with wonder. Hailee nodded, her eyes brimming with happiness.

"Yes, sweetheart. This pony is yours. Stardust will be your companion, your partner in all your adventures." Overwhelmed with emotions, Y/N rushed forward and threw her arms around Hailee, tears of gratitude streaming down her cheeks.
