"Yes, we can carry on after changing these base codes. Because if we continue now it will disrupt the whole baseline frame work later on so it is better to avoid it." Namjoon spoke highlighting the points on screen.

"Alright, Dr. Kim. I'll see to it." Jimin spoke.

"Let's have a break for now." Namjoon spoke.

"Yeah, I am starving." Jimin said leaving his seat. Jimin was still by the door when he heard Namjoon's voice.

"Seokjin, let's have lunch together."

He heard screeching of the chair, it means that Seokjin was now standing. "I am not interested Dr. Kim. Now, if you'll excuse me I would very much like to go with Jimin."

Jimin swiftly ran on to his work station with the fear of get caught for eavesdropping. "Jimin do you have any plans for lunch? Let's go together."

"Sure Dr. Kim. I am free." Jimin smiled.

They both were enjoying their lunch in the cafeteria talking on random things when Jimin spoke, "Dr. Kim speaks very fondly of you."

After hearing this Seokjin stopped chewing on his food as he looked at Jimin. "He speaks about me?"

That's your time to play cupid Jimin and put extra cheese in the tea, he thought to himself, "Yes, Dr. Kim.... Whenever he speaks about you I feel like he really admires you and want a chance with you genuinely. There's something about his voice, I sense as if he feels sorry for himself."

Seokjin was quiet for a moment, thinking about what Jimin said,"If you don't mind, I think you should give him a chance Seokjin."

Seokjin looked at him with something foreign in his eyes, "No, Jimin. I can't."

"Why not? I mean he is handsome, intelligent and he is really interested in you. He would be a great boyfriend." Jimin acted oblivious.

"No you don't know Jimin please stop saying this." Seokjin said looking away.

"It's just one chance." Jimin was persistent.

"I gave him a chance once Jimin.... I....." Seokjin stopped when he realized what he just said.

"Oh... Umm... It's okay if you don't want to tell me about your past... I understand." Jimin said making puppy eyes.

"No, Jimin.... I think you should know." Seokjin sighed continuing the story. It was exactly what Namjoon told Jimin but he acted as if he was listening it for the first time. Shock written all over his face.

When Seokjin finished, he was a crying mess now. "Now, tell me how can I bring myself to give him a chance again?"

"But you told me that he apologized countless times. He even said that he will go through with however you treat him in exchange for just one chance and what you have told me he is trying from two years."

"Then what about the pain Jimin? That I feel inside myself. I want to cry, curse and scream at his face for deceiving me and now being so considerate for me as if nothing has happened."

"Do it Seokjin." Jimin said now removing tears from his eyes.

"What?" Seokjin looked at him.

"Scream, curse, and cry. Heck beat him if you want to, just let it out whatever you are holding inside. I can see Seokjin that you still love him. I know he is a fool for messing a big time but he is repenting from two years, begging for your forgiveness. We all make mistakes Seokjin. What if you were at his place and you did something like that? "
