CHAPTER 44: (Pt2) LOVE CONFESSION & WIFE'S PERIOD

" Yes, even drugs Avantika but it was until dad found it in my room, he and mom both realized because of losing their one child they completely forgot they also have another one to look up after. They sent me to rehab for 8 months because I wasn't yet addicted to drugs so I recovered fast. I realized I can't always live like this; I can't neglect my mom dad but then I can't stay in that same house because it always haunts me with her memories.

I went to America and from there I handled dad's multinational businesses. It was hard for me in the start but the more I buried myself into work the more it makes me forget about the painful reality. It was until you stepped into my life and once again, I fucked up because of my past insecurities.

I don't know either, what's happening. This feeling is wholly new to me as well when I thought Naira, my ex whatever I felt for her is the only emotion close to love or I don't know infatuation but after that those feelings were gone and I thought those emotion was something I'll never feel again I was so wrong because that wasn't even half of what I feel for you.

You're changing me for good. Being with you gives me hope and reason to smile something I have stopped doing long ago. I'm not burdening you with my feelings but I want you to give me a chance to show you that I can be worthy of being your husband and companion for life. I have dreamt about us leading a beautiful life even adopting children if we want any in future I might add." he said it keeping his head low like he was taking vows to her.

Avantika eyes teared up his words held nothing but sincerity and love she could feel it but yet again there was a barrier her heart wasn't yet ready to accept his love.

She needs some time to think about everything all over again he's saying it, now what if she really gives him a chance? She can't get pregnant she can't give him a child something every man desires for at some point then what?

They have various options but again will he accept her with this fault? He's just saying it now that they'll adopt kids if they want but what if tomorrow, he'll meet someone better, women have so much to offer him which she couldn't. It's as if her voice got stuck in her throat, she was hesitant and couldn't trust him with the word 'Love' yet.

When he finally lifted his face, he noticed she was in dilemma and he didn't want that he wants her to confess and tell him she loves too without any conflicting with her mind or a second thought.

He wants her to surrender her soul, heart as well her body, in short everything to him just the way he did when he realized he has finally fallen for her.

Tear rolled her eyes before it reached down her cheek, he put his lips on her skin they are precious to him now. Her each and every drop of tear, tears him apart.

"As I said before you don't have to say anything right now take your time even if you reject me in the end, I don't want to give up yet Avantika" he mumbled burying his face in the crook of her neck. A few seconds passed and he stayed still until her stomach growled with starvation.

Her cheek heated up in embarrassment while he tried hard to suppress his laugh but burst out anyway, she scowled and hit his chest not too hard "Okay enough of this let's feed you something" he said grabbing her fists.

She watched as he took out all the ingredients and began cooking for them throughout the time, she was gazing at him but her mind was completely lost to the things he said. Does he really love her? Even repeating the way, he confessed it makes her heart flutter and stomach flip in excitement and nervousness.

She didn't even realize when he turned around and already found her staring at him without blinking and he knew she was zoning out. Standing in front of her he pecked her nose, bringing her back to reality.
