Dazai and [Y/n] arrived at the abandoned building where Q was being held captive. The abandoned shack lay in the middle of desolate woods, surrounded by overgrown weeds and broken glass. The eerie silence was only interrupted by the sound of their footsteps as they approached the entrance.
"So this is where Q is being kept." As they stopped, [Y/n] noticed that they were being surrounded by members of the guild. The Guild operatives shone their bright lights on the two, trying to disorient them, and held them at gunpoint. The sound of their guns cocking, filled the air as the tension grew thicker. The soldiers stood ready for whatever was to come next. But Dazai and [Y/n] were not fazed.
"Good morning. Our tactician is adept at reading the enemy's actions." [Y/n] clicks her tongue, unimpressed with the situation at hand. "Of course, it's a trap. What a perilous situation we've found ourselves in." Hearing the wind pick up, [Y/N] turned around to see tree branches swaying vigorously, as if they were about to snap, and the leaves rustled loudly. [Y/N] glances upward, noting a large boulder hurdling towards them, a red aura surrounding it. The boulder came crashing into the ground taking Lovecraft with it, and causing a tremor that shakes the surrounding area and sends debris flying in all directions.
As the dust and smoke cleared, revealing none other than Chuuya. Steinbeck stumbled back, finding himself caught off guard by Chuuya's surprise ambush, throwing him and his comrades into chaos. Even with their carefully crafted strategy, they had not anticipated this turn of events.
Chuuya emerged from the smoke, looking determined as he effortlessly faced off against the guild's operatives. He approached the three slowly, the red aura around him grew larger by the second. With his ability, he lifted the guild operators off the ground while they panicked and shouted, trying to shoot at him, but it was too late.
Chuuya then launched them back down, slamming them hard into the ground. The terrified operators could only stare at Chuuya, who had a steely expression in his eyes. With a loud bang, Chuuya continued. [Y/n] couldn't help but find his explosive entrance quite impressive as he confidently strode towards the three, his eyes fixed on Steinbeck. Others found it disruptive; Dazai, on the other hand, was frustrated with his sudden appearance.
With his hands on his hips, Chuuya came to a stop. "Let me set one thing straight. Once I'm done taking out the trash, you're next." Chuuya's bold and confident demeanor was matched only by the intensity of his gaze. "I knew it. This is why I wasn't feeling up for it today," complained Dazai. "I never heard anything about this surprise attack in the strategic forecast."
Desperate for an advantage, Steinbeck summoned grapevines from his palm, in an attempt to gain the upper hand and ensnare Chuuya before he could do more damage. The vines slithered and twisted their way toward Chuuya, but he was too fast, dodging around them and lunging forward. But just as Chuuya was about to land a devastating blow, [Y/n] leaped into action.
