"She knows all the plans of the Port Mafia. Her knowledge of the Port Mafia's plans makes her a valuable asset to us as we seek to take them down or gain an advantage over them." [Y/n] explained with a thoughtful expression on her face.
"Atsushi, I say this with all the love I can muster. Let Dazai and I do the talking." said [Y/n]. "But..." [Y/n] continued, "I just think it would be better if you let us handle the conversation since you are still experiencing new things. But feel free to jump in if you have something important to add." Atsushi looked hesitant but nodded, trusting [Y/n]'s words to handle the situation.
"I'm surprised you've come to join me. You're known for disappearing without a trace." Dazai shrugged and responded, "I couldn't resist the opportunity to spend time with you. It's always more fun when you're around." Before [Y/n] could respond, stirring came from the bed, interrupting their conversation. [Y/n] turned her head to see that Koyo was waking up.
Koyo blinked open her eyes, squinting against the dim lights. She was in a pristine white room, and there was a throbbing pain in her head. She scanned her unfamiliar surroundings, wondering how she got there and who brought her to this place. Before she had time to process everything, Dazai spoke, "Hey, sister.'" She looked up, her eyes widening as she saw Dazai sitting there, a slight smile on his face. "It's been a while."
Koyo frowned, her lips pressing into a thin line. She greeted Dazai, her voice curt. "It has indeed been a while, traitor," she said. It appeared that she had yet to noticed [Y/n]. Dazai merely shrugged, obviously unfazed by her insult. Koyo turned to Atsushi. "Boy, is Kyouka safe?" She asked, her voice urgent and demanding,
Atsushi's face darkened, and his jaw tensed, as though he wanted to respond to her question with violence. "She's missing. Because of you." He said coldly. Koyo snorted in disbelief, then started to laugh. "You can't be serious," Koyo said between laughs. "You're blaming me for her disappearance? That's ridiculous."
"What's so funny!?" Atsushi's features contorted in fury, and he activated his ability and headed straight for Koyo, his tiger claws glinting. Koyo, sensing danger, braced himself for the impact and prepared to counterattack. But before he could do anything, Dazai stepped in, inserting himself between Atsushi and Koyo, nullifying his ability.
"Atsushi-kun. Stand down. We'll take care of this." [Y/n] spoke up, her voice calm yet stern. Atsushi didn't dare speak another word, not liking the way her voice was laced with tension. As she turned to face Koyo, [Y/n]'s words struck her as icy, a contrast that sent a chill up her spine. Koyo's lips curled into a small smile as she recognized [Y/n], and she weakly reached out to pat her head. "It's been so long since I last saw you. You've changed so much." [Y/n] chuckled, with a shake of her head.
Dazai nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "We'll handle it. We'll make sure everything is handled properly," he added, his voice matching hers. Dazai stood up, firmly guiding Atsushi out of the room. "Dazai-san!" protested Atsushi. "Just leave it, okay? We can handle this." With a terse nod in his direction, Dazai shut the door behind him.
Koyo couldn't believe she was finally face-to-face with [Y/n] after all these years. She felt a mix of emotions, from anger to excitement, but she knew deep down that she had missed her former friend. Dazai's teasing smile was gone, instead, his expression turned serious as he gazed at Koyo intently. Koyo felt a shiver run down her spine as she wondered what could have caused such a sudden change in Dazai's demeanor.
[Y/n] tapped her fingers against the bedside table that stood beside the bed Koyo was lying on. Koyo looked up, her piercing eyes meeting Dazai's eyes, her expression changing into a mixture of determination and curiosity. "What's on your mind?" she asked, breaking the silence that had filled the room. [Y/n] could see the defiance in them, even as she lay there, injured and weakened. "Well then. Sorry to get right to the point, but tell us the Port Mafia's role in the conflict and what your strategy is moving forward."
