107. Strikes Back

Y/N: " Look at this."
Y/N scrolled through his phone for a little bit and showed Yuqi a picture.
Yuqi: " Isn't that your ex girlfriend who pestered you for quite awhile even when we helped you to chase her away?"

Y/N: " Yeah, but you all don't know her name right?"
Yuqi: " She's Ashley?! And more importantly she's becoming our CEO? How??"
Y/N: " That's what I am worried about the most. I do not know what is she planning."
Yuqi: " You think perhaps she's back for you again?"
Y/N: " I don't know, and I don't want to know... but if she's gonna do something stupid to you girls, that's the end of (G)I-DLE, we will quit and leave cube. Atleast that's what my plan."
Yuqi nodded: " Oppa, we will follow you to death~."

Y/N: " Let's get to bed, you still have a stage to attend to tomorrow."

They lay back down and slept with Yuqi hugging Y/N.

However, Y/N couldn't sleep, not when he knows that his ex strikes back yet again.
"When will you be satisfied...? I thought we are already completely done... and now you are back yet again..."

The next day...

From the morning till evening,
From the beginning of the the girls rehearsal to the end of the actual performance, Y/N has been distracted.
He couldn't stop thinking about his ex becoming their CEO.

Back on the van going back to the hotel.
Minnie: " I am so happy we were here hehehe."
Miyeon: " One of the most fun stage I had."

Soyeon: " Oppa. You seem to be quiet all day, what happened?"
Shuhua: " Yeah I noticed it too."
Minnie: " I realised too."
Miyeon: " Perhaps Oppa you aren't feeling well?"
Y/N took a deep breath.

Yuqi: " Well... there's something going on back there in Cube."

Yuqi related everything that happened last night.

Shuhua: " What?! She's back again and now she's our new CEO? Tsk!"
Minnie: " that's kinda annoying."
Miyeon: " Maybe she isn't as bad as we think?"
Y/N: " I don't know. Right now my head is spinning as it has been the whole day. I don't want to assume bad things but at the same time I don't know if I should be thinking good about her..."

Yuqi: " For now she hasn't bothered us at all right so we just act normal?"
Y/N: " That's my plan too."
Shuhua: " if she dare to try something I'm quitting and going to Soojinnie right away."
Y/N: " Mmm."

And thus life continues normally for awhile.

The girls returned from Thailand stage and there wasn't much stages left.

There was about a week plus break before their final stage, Singapore stage.

One day in the dance practise room.
Y/N was with the girls practising for their new song Nxde.

Y/N: " So tomorrow Shuhua you will be dying your hair yeah since the MV shooting is 2 days away?"
Shuhua: " Oh boy oh boy, looks like it is here hehehe."
Minnie: " I'm kinda excited to see Shuhua blond hohoho."
Yuqi: " You turn into a Santa for a moment."
Shuhua: " Oppa can you accompany for the hair dying tomorrow?"
Y/N: " Sure."

Soyeon: " Oppa."
Y/N: " Hmm?"
Soyeon: " So far your ex done anything?"
Y/N: " Nope."
Yuqi: " that's good isn't it? We wouldn't want to bother with her."
Y/N: " Yeah that's what I would like."

The next day...

Y/N went with Shuhua to dye her hair.

After few hours.

Shuhua looked at herself in the mirror couldn't believe her own eyes that she is blond.

She quickly turn to Y/N.
Shuhua: " Oppa... h-how do I look...?"
Y/N: " Oh my... honestly you look way better than I expected."
Shuhua blushed and look back into the mirror.
She was still trying her best to get use to her new look.
