Stef's: POV
It's been a few days since Francesca took the placement test at clover Dale private school. Nones called us with the results, Lena's been a nervous reck. I'm holding everything together for the sake of my family, while Lena's upstairs giving Grace and Hope their baths. Francesca out with my mom
At least we had a back up plan in case Francesca didn't get into this school
Lena's been working with Francesca on her basic skills. I recently got both my case off, l have to wear a walking boot for three weeks so my leg can get stronger. I been working out every day with my personal trainer, he pushes me to the extreme. I love the challenge, so far things are going well
I spoke with the contractor who's working on our house. He said they will be getting started on the repairs tomorrow, l was beginning to get a little in patient. I understood he had other projects ahead of ours, being at the cabin was kinda of nice. The snow is finally clearing up and sun is out
I went outside to check the mailbox
There was a few pieces of junk mail
A couple Lena's magazines, my cooking ones. The last piece was a letter from clover Dale private school
I headed back inside the cabin, it was addressed to Lena and I. I took a deep breath and opened up the envelope
And begin reading carefully, wait until Lena hears the news about our daughter passing the proficiency test
For clover Dale. We knew Francesca was smart, Lena came downstairs
Honey you get the babies okay Stef says to Lena. Yeah as soon as there little heads hit the pillow they were down for the count, did you get the mail. Lena asks me. I sure did
You're never gonna believe who got into clover Dale private school, Stef states. Are you serious Francesca got accepted l hand Lena the letter from the principal, she reads it once she finishes Lena had tears in her eyes
This is the best news sweetheart
She said to me. It sure is l think we should do something to celebrate
Stef States, what do you have in mind
Lena asks me. I think I can come up with something, since Francesca's birthday is in two weeks how we give her a surprise birthday party and invite some of her friends from the group home down Stef inquires
I love the way you think. I need to get started on the guest list, soon
I'll have to call Shannon and see what she says about bringing a couple of the kids that's around Francesca's age group Lena replied. Why do you always have to run things by Shannon all the time, aren't you in charge of the new Haven children's home, Stef Stated. Baby Shannon and I are business partners, whatever decisions
I make. Effects our partnership
What's this really about, you've never had an issue before. Lena's trying to understand where Stef is coming from, it's just a question. It just seems like you give her to much control over the state of your business, you were the one who came up with the idea about opening up the home for children and wasn't it your money you dish out. I don't remember seeing putting no funds, l know you think
I'm jealous of your relationship with her. I just don't want anyone taking advantage of all your hard work you put in at that place Stef explains
Lena's beginning to see the big picture
She remembers what she first brought Shannon on board, she didn't bring anything to the table. Shannon was a license child psychologist and had her own practice,

Dear Mrs. And Mrs. Foster Adams
I'm sorry to not getting in touch with you. I've been in and out of meetings these last few days, l have several parents come in wanting to enroll their child at our school. But that wasn't an excuse for not calling with Francesca's test results, l was quite astonish when our testing coordinator
Michelle handed me Francesca's scores. She passed with a 95 the highest out the twenty kids that has come through the building, you ladies should be proud. Welcome to clover Dale private school, l look forward in seeing you guys in the fall. I'll be mailing out a packet everything she needs for the first year, we feel since she's passed the entrance exam. We'll place her in our advanced first grade class. It's a little more challenging
I have faith in her abilities to succeed under our guidance and teaching, feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns, l look forward in seeing you soon.
