Lena's: POV
It's been two weeks since Stef's accident. Things were slowly coming together, Stef won the court case
The judge Jenkins rule in our favor
Stef received the settlement in the amount of ten million dollars and the man was ordered to pay all her medical bills and legal fees. Our lawyer said it could take up to sixth days until she would received her check, it has to go through the Treasury department before it gets to her. I'm just it's all behind us, Stef and Francesca have been working extra hard on the rec room the last couple of days, l haven't seen what they done
to the basement. The delivery truck has been here four times already delivering large boxes and a list of other stuff, l was forbidden to go down to see what they did. Francesca wouldn't tell me anything, mom and dad. Went back home Sharon was here, helping me with the girls while I took care of Stef. She's getting around just fine, with her crutches as long as stays off that leg. Stef can be stubborn at times, Grace is starting to crawl and hope is teething. Their only three months old, the pediatrician said sometimes babies teether early
These weren't your typical twins
I wasn't complaining. As a first time mom, l need to ask questions
I just finished giving them their morning baths. They love the water especially Grace, pretty soon we'll have to baby proof both houses, l got them lotion down, l tried not to dress them alike. I recently took them to get there ears pierced, along with Francesca. Who has a birthday coming up soon, l know Stef's probably go all out like she did for Christmas, it doesn't even bother me anymore. I just let her do her thing
Sharon just took the dogs for their walk, their extremely protective over the girls. Snowy is getting beside him self, tearing stuff up something he's never done before. Stef thinks he's jealous because he's not getting attention, he bark at Sharon the other day. Usually snowy is laid back puppy
Even cocoa notices, she stays out of his way. I popped him with the newspaper, cause he ripped my socks
I finally got the girls for a nap. Tonight l decided to make spaghetti and meatballs, a tall salad with garlic bread. I head down stairs to see Sharon watching some crime show
I went straight into the kitchen washed my hands, put some boiling water in the pot for the noddles, Stef is usually the one who cooks for our family. But since she's still recovering
I decided to give her a break, after turning on the burner. I took out the meatballs, l already seasoned them the night before. I stuck them in the oven, and set on 350 degrees
I begin to clean up a little bit around the dining room by sweeping the floor
While dinner was cooking, the baby monitor was sitting on the counter
I could see what the babies were doing. Luckily it had a camera on it
Once we get back home l have to take Francesca to get a physical at the clinic we're l take the girls at, they were accepting new patients l put her under my insurance plan. I have to pay a ten dollar co pay, every time I go. Grace and Hope were update on their shots, they go back when their six months old. I haven't decided when l'm going back to work yet
Stef brought up hiring a nanny full time, l don't feel comfortable with having complete strangers around our children. Stef and Francesca have been down in that basement for hours now,
