Lena's: POV
I can't believe how crowded the farmers market was. As we enter inside, the building people were all over the place. This is my first time actually visiting. we walked around
A bit, seeing vendors who had different types of fruit and vegetables
I gave Stef the fruit list and went in different directions. I headed over to the first station, l sorted the basket full of vegetables. I picked up some squash, zucchini cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli, sweet potatoes
Corn on the cob. Carrots, collard green, string beans, cauliflower
Eggplant, l can't think of anything else
I walked up to the counter to pay for my items. The lady counted everything l had in my basket
Thirty dollars for everything,
I reached in my bag and took out forty instead of thirty, l stand waiting for her to bring me back my change
She comes back carrying a rather large box. I'm giving back two fives
I thank her, Lena walked around the market. I wonder how Stef is making out, l decided to take this box out to the car and put it in the trunk technically l'm not supposed to be carrying anything over ten pounds
I popped open the trunk and laid the nearly inside. I shut the lid down and lock it back, walked back in the building. I reached down to pick up a basket, I feel my cell phone ringing in my jacket pocket. I took it out and answered it hello l said to caller
Baby where are you at Stef asks me
Honey l came back in, Lena replied
Love that's not telling nothing. just tell me what aisle are you in Stef asked
I'm standing next to the entrance
Lena replies. Okay stay right there
Stef says to me, fine I'll wait for you
Lena ends the call. Maybe it wasn't smart of me, to leave out without letting Stef know where I was at
There's a few more errands needed to take care of. I wanted to go by Walmart to get a table cloth for the dining room, l see my wife heading towards me. Holding two wooden crates, filled what l'm assuming fruit
Hey how did you make out Lena asks
I did alright considering that I had to stand in a long ass line. Next time we come here we need to arrive bright and early in the morning, Stef said
We might have just found the best spot to come to for fruits and vegetables. Lena tells Stef, the blonde nods in agreement. Where else do you need to go Stef questions, Walmart
I didn't realize we didn't have a table cloth. Plus l get pie shells cranberry sauce, and a few other things Lena States. Let's get the hell outta here
Stef, Stated as Lena put the basket with the other ones were at.
