Stef's: POV
Where on our way to Lena's six week appointment with Dr whitmore.
It's been a few days since we've been home from our mini vacation, Lena is twelve weeks as of yesterday and she's already has a small baby bump.
I pulled up to the hospital and parked the car. We both exit the car together
Held hands and went inside the building, we took the elevator up to the fifth floor. Baby l'm so nervous about this visit what if something's wrong, l kissed Lena on the lips to get her to calm down. The doors of the elevators open, and we step off
Walked down the hallway l opened up the door for Lena to go first
She went up front and got checked in
I came in and headed over to waiting area and sat down picked up a parenting magazine l scanned through the pages and begin reading
Article on the different stages of pregnancy. Lena took a seat beside me, the receptionist said the nurse will call us back soon Lena says to me
Lena placed her hand on top of mine

No Lena replied, can you roll up your sleeve so I can check your blood pressure please. She puts the cuff on Lena's arm, 120/80 and the nurse jots down the information. Do you think you can give us a urine sample, she asks. Lena takes the cup and leaves the room, a few later Lena comes back into the examining room. And hands the nurse the plastic container

I started showing at two months
But where gonna have a look and see what's going on, the gel might be cold so be alarmed. She applied some cool cream on my belly and Dr. Whitmore moves the wand around on Lena's stomach, that sound you hear is your babies heartbeat Dr. Whitmore explains her favorite patients. Stef holds Lena's hand in hers, the looks closely at the screen to make sure what she's seeing correct. See those two amniotic sacs, meaning there's two babies inside of one Dr. Whitmore informed us. I was speechless and Lena was in tears
She wipes the gel off of Lena's stomach. Lena sat up, l'll print you a copy, with twins you can deliver
