I stood in between Tsu and Kota, waiting for All Might's instruction. "Anyway, we'll start now. It's hero basic training! Long time no see, boys and girls! How've you been? For this time's hero basic training... Since you've all just gotten back from your internships, we'll have some fun with a rescue training race!" All Might said.
"If we are doing rescue training, then shouldn't we do it at USJ?" Iida asked as he raised his arm up. "Because we are doing a race...?" I answered bluntly.

"That's right, L/N! USJ is a place for training for disasters. This is Field Gamma! A dense area filled with factories laid out lile an intricate labyrinth. You'll break up into four 5-person groups and go through the training one group at a time. When I sent out a distress signal from somewhere inside, you'll all start at once from the outskirts of the city! It's a race to see who will rescue me first! Of course, you'll have to keep damage to a minimum." All Might said, pointing at Bakugo and I snickered quietly.
"Don't point at me!" Bakugo said and turned his head away from embarrassment for being called out by All Might. "All right, first group, get in place and the rest of you go up there and watch!" All Might said as he pointed at the stairs which leads to a platform with a huge monitor screen and speakers.
The first group was Midoriya, Mina, Sero, Ojiro, and Iida so All Might led those five into the Field Gamma as the rest of the class went to the platform. I sat on the ground beside Yaoyorozu. "Iida hasn't comepletely recovered yet, right? He should just watch." Kaminari said. "This group has everyone in the class with good mobility." Kirishima said.
"Hmm, perhaps Midoriya is at a slight disadvantage." Yaoyorozu commented.
"That's true. Honestly, I'm still not sure how good he is." Jiro said.
"And whenever he does something, he always get badly injured..." Yaoyorozu added.
'It's kind of sad to see how many people in our class looks down on Midoriya...' I thought as I frowned at my classmate's comments on Midoriya.
"Who do you think will win? I think Sero will be first!" Kirishima said.
"But Ojiro's there, too." Kaminari said.
"I think it'll be Ashido. She's really athletic!" The perverted grape said. "You're disgusting." I commented along with a sign.
"Deku will be last!" Bakugo shouted.
I twisted my body to face Kirishima and Kaminari. "I say Midoriya will win." I said and accidentally gained quite a lot of my classmate's attention. "Eh? Why?" Kirishima asked. "You all underestimate him too much sometimes..." I let out a disappointed sign. "Let's place our bets. Losers pay the winner 100 yen." I suggested with a confident grin. "Woah! Someone is confident!" Kirishima commented.
