He'll never forget the day he first met you.

At first he just thought you were another girl trying to work at the restaurant.

Until he actually got to know you..

And how he ended up becoming the kind of person he is now was so sudden that not even he could believe it.

You entered the restaurant for the first time looking like a little business woman.

But it was nothing new to him, he sees it almost all the time.

He never really paid any attention to the waitresses already working there anyways.

And you were no acception either.

After you ask one of the waitresses if the manager is in, he comes out and sat you on the counter area and the two of you began to talk.

The cook wasn't really going to listen.

He had just planned on keeping his focus on what's in front of him and that's it.

Yet all of a sudden...

He can't help but over hear your conversation...

"So what made you want to work here?"

You sighed.

You- "Honestly...I just wanted to work here because I was underqualified for my dream job."

"May I ask what your dream job is?"

You chuckled awkwardly.

You- "UM...I.....I wanted to be a Chef..."

The cook stops cutting to listen better.

"Do you have any restaurant experience?"

You sigh again.

You- "Well....I did do alot of volunteer work in the past but I was told that its all useless information."

He sighs.

"Unfortunately...It is what it is..."

You nod and slump a bit.

"But if you start here as a server, you can slowly make your way up."

You- "Yeah....I figured..."

The manager chuckles at your response.

"You don't sound very convinced."

You laughed awkwardly.

You- "Well....There's no other way for me to get there besides starting from the bottom so really....I'm all out of options."

The manager nods.

"Its just the way things are unfortunately."

You hum.

You- "Yeah....I just wished I was better prepared for that moment..."

"No one is ever prepared until they experience it."

You- "Yeah..."
