Yuzuha kept her headphones on to try and tune out the ruckus going on downstairs and kept reading her magazine.
She was already on her third magazine when her mind started drifting off.
She tried to keep her focus on the magazine but she still couldn't stop thinking about earlier.
Why did I even bother calling Taiju?
I knew he wouldn't even help us so why waste my breath?
Yuzuha knew it from the beginning, yet she still picked up her phone and dialed him.
Maybe it was worth a shot?
Either way, Taiju hung up before she could even tell him what happened.
Those guys downstairs broke their mother's pottery.
If Taiju saw it, he would've sent those guys to hell himself.
Nobody knows this but Taiju loved their mother very much.
Since their father was almost never home, Taiju took the role of being the 'Man Of The House.'
When their mother was busy, Taiju took initiative in her place.
He would make sure his siblings ate all their vegetables.
That they do their homework.
And he would tell them to pick up after themselves.
Basically doing what their mother would do and say.
He was a jerk yes, but he wasn't abusive.
After their mother died he started to be.
Yuzuha didn't know why all of a sudden he started to raise his fist at them.
Their mother never raised her hand at them so why?
How could he do such a thing to his own siblings??
She thought that he would hit them because he absolutely hated them.
But as she got older, she started wondering.
And the more she though about it, the clearer it got.
Maybe he hit them because he didn't know how to cope..
Taiju didn't show it, but she KNOWS he misses her so much.
Because why would his behavior change so suddenly?
Before she died, Taiju was always by their mother's side.
He would follow her everywhere she went.
He didn't let her go ANYWHERE on her own.
Except the bathroom.
So when he heard that she was dying, it was probably too much for him to handle.
Yuzuha didn't understand why all of a sudden Taiju changed.
