"Max you've been staring at that glass for the last ten minutes, drink it or put it in the fridge." You say looking over at Max staring at the glass with some of your breastmilk. After you finished pumping Max said he would try some but has since just been staring at it in a glass as you package the rest of it up to freeze. You lean against the counter as Liam plays with his oatmeal spreading it all over his face.

"If you don't want it I'm sure someone else will –" you start and Max grabs the glass shooting it back. He swallows and you raise your eyebrow at him.

"And?"

"It's sweet." Max says standing up looking at the glass.

"I told you." You say laughing putting the rest packaged up into the freezer.

"I mean I'm not about to have it in my cereal every morning, but maybe during 'adult time' we could – " Max says setting the glass down on the counter next to you and as if on cue Liam starts screaming for attention. Both you and Max shake your heads laughing. Max leans down and places a quick kiss on your lips before you head over to Liam's high chair pulling him out while Max puts the glass into the dishwasher.

"How did you get yourself so dirty already?" You ask looking at the oatmeal smeared everywhere. "Come on let's get this mess all cleaned up." You say walking with Liam on your hip back to the kitchen to grab some paper towels.

"I've got it." Max says grabbing the paper towels. "Why don't you get him cleaned up then we can go for a walk or something?"

You nod surprised, you're so used to having to do everything on your own when Daniel's not around. "Sure, sounds good. Thanks." You say smiling softly at Max. "Oooooo maybe if we ask daddy nicely he'll get us some gelato while we're out." You say bouncing Liam on your hip who giggles as you walk with him back to the nursery to get him cleaned up.

A knock on the front door has both you and Max turning your heads halting your movements. Max looks over at you and you furrow your brow not expecting anyone.

"Are you expecting anyone?" Max asks and you shake your head no pulling out your phone to view the security camera footage as the knocking gets louder.

"Lando?" You ask nervously trying to think of who it could be.

"No he's in England." Max says and you shake your head opening up the feed. "Charlotte and Charles always text when they're coming over."

The colour drains from your face as you see a group of men standing on the other side of your front door. The man knocking on the door sending chills down your spine surrounded by his security team.

"Who is it?" Max asks and you re-adjust Liam on your hip tightening your hold on him.

"Jos."

"Hide." Max says firmly. "Take Liam and lock the bedroom door. Keep him quiet. I'll get rid of him."

Looking down at Liam on your hip you nod. Under different circumstances you would have no problem facing Jos alone, but now, now you had your son to think about. There was no way in hell you would risk letting Jos anywhere near Liam.

"Max?" You say stopping just before the bedroom door. "Be careful."

Max nods watching as you closes and lock the bedroom door behind barricaded behind at least another locked door.

Max takes a deep breath before opening up the door. His father stands on the other side, four of his members of security around him.

"What are you doing here?" Max says keeping his hand on the door.
