Waking up the next morning you feel oddly well rested and relaxed, you roll over and check the time.

Shit it's already noon I slept in.

Wait, why didn't Liam wake up to be fed.

You quickly get out of bed, heading over to the crib before smacking yourself in the head with your hand.

Right, Camille said she would take Liam in this morning to avoid speculations.

You text Daniel that you're on your way and that you slept in but will be by shortly. You quickly get changed, do your makeup, and throw some dry shampoo into your hair before giving up and just throwing it up into a bun.

Your stomach starts to gurgle, and you sigh, alright I should eat something this morning. Grabbing your purse and your pass you head downstairs to grab some breakfast, but then you realize that it's now after noon and there is no more breakfast. You grab an apple from the counter and head towards the car waiting for you.

It'll have to do until we get to the track.

"I am so sorry I'm late. I must not have set an alarm, just slept right through." You say hugging Daniel just as he gets into the car for FP3.

"You made it so that's all that matters." Daniel says and you can see the smiles in his eyes though his helmet.

"Go get 'em Dan." You say before heading over to the medical tent to pick up Liam from Camille.

"There you are." Camille says clearly exhausted. "Here's your mama." She says passing Liam over to you.

"Thank you. I guess I didn't realize how sleep deprived I actually am." You say and Liam smiles, grabbing a piece of your hair. The three of you sit in the medical tent and watch as FP3 unfolds. You wish you could say that Max did better in this practice, but he didn't. He's still not driving like he normally does. He seems distracted.

"I'm going to head back and grab some lunch, but I'll text you when I'm ready to leave. Thank you again." You say hugging Camille.

"Anytime." She says before you walk back down the paddock to the Red Bull garage to congratulate Daniel on his practice session.

"That one felt good." Daniel says as you give him a quick hug.

"You looked good too." You say laughing. "Now go do your thing. I need to find some food for this little guy." You say rubbing Liam's belly who just smiles and babbles.

"I think the hospitality building still has lunch if you want to grab some." Daniel says running his hand through his sweaty hair.

"I'll go check it out. I'll be back before Quali," you say waving and heading out into the hospitality building. Luckily they do still have lunch made and you're able to grab a rice bowl and some pudding for Liam taking it upstairs onto the patio to enjoy.

Since it's not a normal lunch hour the patio is empty, but you don't mind. You sit in the corner of the patio breastfeeding Liam while enjoying the view of the paddock when you hear yelling coming up the stairs.

"Max! You need to talk to the engineers and get this figured out before qualifying!" You hear Sara yell.

"Just give me a minute. I need some air." Max yells back storming up the stairs. You keep your head down and keep eating as Max makes his way to the other side of the patio. You are not entirely sure if he has noticed you or not, so you keep quiet.

"Ouch, no teeth." You whisper adjusting your son's grasp on your breast under the cover. "That's better, thank you." You say sipping on your water. You look over and see Max is staring at you, tears in his eyes.
