"Adelyn you look perfect," Lia breathes out, looking me as I watch myself in the mirror.

"You look absolutely perfect," Val smiles warmly at me, "I would give you a hug but we worked so hard on getting your dress right," she adds with a nervous laugh.

I smile weakly in response, my gaze fixated on my reflection. My eyes travel down the girl staring back at me as my breath is taken away yet again at the sight of my dress. It really is perfect, even if this wedding isn't.

He looks at me with nothing but pride in his eyes, and I feel my stomach drop; "You look parfaite [perfect], my daughter," he says softly, "And now it is time for me to walk my little girl down the aisle,"
