The ghost Pov: -

" . . . . They could only hope that they would be able to make amends and somehow earn her forgiveness. . . . . . " I mumbled the words while reading the book as my eyes became blurry with tears. I sniffed and wiped my eyes, determined to finish the story no matter how emotional it made me feel. But then, just as I was getting really into the book, I heard the sound of a vase breaking and snapped out of my reading trance.

" What the ghost? " I exclaimed, floating up into the air and looking around for the source of the noise.

I stopped searching for the broken vase when I found Rose who was beside the broken vase, I saw Rose start to sway on her feet, her eyes rolling back in her head as she stumbled and was about to fall on the ground but then, before I could even react, Beta Spade was there, running towards Rose and calling out her name in concern. Just as Rose's body was about to hit the ground, Beta Spade caught her in his arms and picked her up, cradling her gently as he hurried towards her room.

I followed along behind him, my ghostly form flitting through the walls and doors as I kept pace with his swift movements. As I watched him go, I couldn't help but notice a slight change in his eyes, as if something had suddenly come over him. And then, as I listened in, I realized that he was mind linking, calling out to the pack doctors and the Alpha for help.

Without hesitation, Beta Spade kicked open the door to Rose's room and quickly went inside, calling out her name as he gently laid her on the bed. He switched on the fan from the socket beside him, the cool breeze helping to soothe her heated skin. He stood up and grabbed a towel, gently wiping the sweat from her face as he tried to make her comfortable.

Just as he finished, the door burst open and the pack doctors rushed in, their faces grim as they set to work examining Rose. Alpha Samuel followed close behind, his expression fierce as he took in the scene. Luna Amaris was by his side, her face etched with concern as she watched the doctor's work.

" What happened? " Alpha Samuel demanded, his voice loud and commanding.

" What's wrong with her? " Amaris asked to the doctor.

" We're not sure yet, " one of the pack doctors replied, his voice steady as he checked Rose's pulse.

" Do whatever you need to do, " Alpha Samuel commanded, his voice firm.

" Just make sure she's okay. " He said in a low voice. Luna Amaris stepped forward; her eyes filled with worry as she looked down at Rose.

" Please, do everything you can to help her, " she implored the doctors.

The doctors nodded and continued their examination, working quickly and efficiently to determine the cause of Rose's condition. And as I floated there, watching the scene unfold, I couldn't help but feel a sense of concern and worry for Rose and her loved ones. I just hoped that they would be able to find a way to help her and bring her back to health.

But then, as the doctors worked, they suddenly stopped, a look of shock and surprise on their faces.

" What is it? " Alpha Samuel demanded, his voice tight with concern.

" What have you found? " One of the doctors looked up at him, his face pale.

" She's pregnant, " he said, his voice trembling.

" Rose is pregnant. "

There was a moment of stunned silence as everyone in the room took in the news. " Pregnant? " Luna Amaris repeated, her voice filled with shock and disbelief.

" Yes, " the doctor confirmed, his face still pale.

" It's still early on, but the tests are conclusive. Rose is definitely pregnant. "

Alpha Samuel let out a sigh of relief, a look of happiness and pride spreading across his face.

" This is wonderful news, " he said, his voice filled with joy.

" A new life, a new member of the pack. We should celebrate. "

As the news of Rose's pregnancy spread throughout the pack, there was a sense of celebration and joy that permeated the air. Everyone was happy to hear that a new life was on the way, and that the pack would soon be welcoming a new member. But as Rose began to wake up, she was confused to see so many people in her room. She tried to sit up, but Luna Amaris rushed over to help her, gently easing her back against the pillows.

" What's going on? What's happening? " Rose asked, her voice weak and tired.

Alpha Samuel stepped forward, a huge grin on his face.

" We have some wonderful news to share with you, sweetie, " he said, his voice filled with happiness.

" You're pregnant. "

" Thank God, I thought something bad had happened! " Rose exclaimed, wrapping her arm around her stomach as she tenderly caressed her barely visible bump.

We all looked at her with confusion on our faces, wondering what she meant. But then, as she let out a sigh of relief and a look of happiness spread across her face, it all became clear.

" Chase and I already knew, " she said, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. " We were going to wait until he got back from mission to reveal it, but I guess the news got out a little early. "

There was a moment of stunned silence as everyone took in this revelation, and then a cheer went up as everyone celebrated the happy news. Beta Spade, who had been standing off to the side, grinned and clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.

" It's time for the party! " he exclaimed, a huge grin on his face. " Let's go celebrate the arrival of our newest pack member! "

There were cheers and whoops of excitement as everyone began to make their way to the party, eager to celebrate this joyous occasion. And as I floated there, watching the scene unfold, I couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness and warmth in my ghostly heart. This was a moment of pure joy, and one that would be remembered for years to come.
