coincidence?

(im so sorry for posting late lately! I sometimes get writers block and end up procrastinating or going over what i wrote several times. I usually try checking for Grammer mistakes or fixing up some of the sentences which takes me a while since i prefer to make each chapter at least 1500 words long- also apologies if the story is going slow- i dont like rushing along romance i try building up scenarios where they fall for eachother slowly sorry again- anyways enjoy today's chapter!) 

Tighnari POV:

Ok i thought being away from school would be absolute bliss but- it's a lot more boring than i thought it would be-

I lay on my couch looking at the spinning ceiling fan making myself dizzy. I shake my head and sit up, I wonder if its almost time to pick up collei- i look over at the clock hanging off my wall and groan. 3 hours left?! 'agh!' i lay back down on the couch pouting slightly, having someone to scold sounds really fun to have around right about now- i sigh, this sucks-

I turn onto my stomach having my face against the cushion. Before i manage to suffocate myself, i hear a soft buzzing sound come from my back pocket. I quickly grab my phone and look at the bright screen. It read,...

Oh god don't tell me this is who i think it is- i quickly unlock my phone and watch as the typing bubble appears.

Unknown number:
hey is this tighnari?

I groan as i take a deep breathe and ask the most obvious question imaginable.

Tighnari:
Yes this is tighnari, who are you?

Unknown number:
Oh hey tighnari, its me cyno. Ms yae gave me your number this morning but i just wanted to make sure you didn't give me some weird randos' number-

Tighnari:
Im not that immature to be giving you false information cyno- im not you

Cyno😒:
Geeze it was just a joke dont take it so hard god damn- anyways i did what i had to do now i have to go, ca-shew later tignari :⁠-⁠|

After my little conversation with cyno time went by a lot faster which gave me a huge sense of relief, finally i wont be by myself!

I grab my house keys and rush out the door.

As i head to collei's school I hear the highschool bell ringing off in the distance, I forgot that we get out at the same time today- bummer.

After a while I make my way towards the entrance of collei's middle school and patiently wait for her.

Not long after i arrive i see collei run out of the school towards me.

"Hey kiddo, ready to go?," I say ruffling her hair.

"Wait! Before we go can i drop off my things i wanna help out with the groceries!," She says smiling widely.
