Today is graduation day and Daveontae is still in the hospital not doing good at all they said.

Me and India is getting ready and August is going to meet us at the school.

--Graduation Time.

"August Alsina." The principal called out. People cheered for him

"Kayla Phillips." He said as people clapped and cheered

"India Westbrooks." Everyone whistled her name and clapped

They called the rest of the people and then we all threw our caps.

As I was walking towards Dave's momma I swear I seen him. As I got closer I seen it was him. He was holding Iesha and he was dressed nice in a plaid shirt and some khaki shorts. "Daveontae?!" I started to tear up

He smiled at me and opened his arms. I ran and jumped on him making sure not to make him drop Esha.

"Shit Idia."

"I'm sorry babe."

"Hell, that shit hurt. He grabbed his side."

"I thought you wasn't doing good at all.. That's what the doctors told us."

"I told them to say that.."

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to surprise you. By the way I kind of snuck out the hospital." She gave a cheesy smile

I shook my head. "Good."
"Your not too sore to want this pussy are you?" I whispered in his ear.

His eyes got big. "Hell nah. I'm fine."

"Good. Happy birthday baby." I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him.

"Y'all are too cute!" His mom said. "Stand over here for some pictures. Get Kayla and August." She said

I called for Kayla, but we couldn't find August. We took some pictures serious, funny, and cute pictures. I seen my mom and dad approach me

"Awe is this my granbaby?" My "mother." Asked

"No." I stated.

"Where's your child?"

I pointed into daveontaes arms. "Right here."

"I just asked that."

"I know.. Its MY child it WOULD be your grand baby but you disown Ed me remember? So don't consider me as your daughter and this isn't your granddaughter."

"Yes she is."

"Wrong." I snapped and looked at BOTH of my parents.

"I am happy with my fiance, daughter, mother in-law and Kayla. Thanks for coming, Now bye." I said and then they walked away.

I don't want to be rude to them, but they hurt me. When I needed them the most they cut me out of their lives. Now that I'm graduated they want to show up like every things all good.
