Normal Perspective:

Two days had passed since Michael had rescued Breakdown and the incident at the abandoned Energon mine. The ex-Stunticon hadn't woken up, and no one could decide on if it was a good thing or a bad thing for several reasons, whether it had to do with the blue mech or not.

Ratchet felt cramped in the Medbay, having stayed there ever since the others came back from the mine for, despite the size of the room, it felt a lot smaller than it actually was with such a large mech inside the room, even though Optimus was the largest in the base, but he was grateful for the peace and quiet.

Arcee couldn't stop herself from seething at having seen the damage Airachnid had caused to yet another mech, even if it was a Decepticon.

Bulkhead had gone back and forth between the sparring room to let out his pent-up emotions, and watching the TV in the Command Center as loud as he could in an attempt to distract himself. Nobody could blame him for that, however, given who was now in their Medbay.

Bumblebee was talking enthusiastically about whether things for them might turn up with possible help, to which Michael couldn't help but grin at his positivity.

Cliffjumper was questioning the Techno-Organic's actions, even if his male charge was doing the right thing, about whether bringing him to their base was the best decision, to which the young teen constantly assured him that he knew what he was doing.

Starscream wasn't sure of how to feel. He remembered when he had brought Knockout and Breakdown aboard the Nemesis all those months ago to look after his now-former then-comatose leader, and when he had sent a search party for Breakdown when he had been captured by MECH after Megatron refused to do so. He also remembered what he had said to the 'Con after he had been rescued, about whether he had to choose between himself and Megatron. He realized that what Breakdown had asked at the time had come true. Would he choose to join the Autobots or go back to the Decepticons?

Optimus was proud of Michael for his actions, for he had saved a life that would have otherwise been lost. Whether it had been risky to bring him to the base or not, he knew deep down that it had been the right decision, but now they had another problem to deal with regarding the Medbay's latest patient. He was all for welcoming new additions to their cause, but in the case of the Decepticons, it was completely up to them of whether they wanted to join or not, and to whether it was completely genuine.

The humans weren't sure of what to think. Out of the five teens, only Miko and Jessica had encountered Breakdown up close. Miko remembered when she had gone to Greece to do a report and Bulkhead had protected her from a pillar the blue mech had thrown at her, and Jessica remembered when she and Miko had played an unorthodox game of hide and seek with Knockout and Breakdown in a monster truck rally parking lot. Neither time had been fun for either of the girls. Miko, like when Starscream was brought in before, wasn't happy about it, but knew that there was nothing she could do, and had to begrudgingly put up with it.

And Michael? Michael was prepared for when the blue 'Con woke up.

It was in the afternoon of the third day of his arrival at the base when Breakdown was pulled from stasis-lock and finally awoke, as Michael and Ratchet were in the Medbay.

Ratchet was working, and Michael was waiting.

Breakdown groaned as he awoke, as his one optic slowly opened.

The first thing he noticed was that he had been restrained to the berth he was on. A precaution, obviously, but it wasn't welcome by the blue mech, for it reminded him of when he had been captured by MECH a few months ago. He looked around the room. The not-Decepticon purple room. But it also wasn't a converted tunnel with railway tracks either. It looked rather primitive with its stone and rocky walls, but at the same time, he didn't feel as though he was in immediate danger unlike the last time.
