Chapter 8

"I had a lot of fun today. Thank you for having me. Having us." Danb smiled, after bowing.

"We have to thank you for making sure everyone was comfortable and had fun." Chan returned, showing his gratitude towards the team and the young female.

Everyone bowed and clapped before the staff of JYP started to pick their things up and leave the room, Danbi's colleague taking apart their equipment.

She immediately turned and started to help, moving the expensive cameras out of the way. Being in her world, she didn't notice the now familiar Australian male approaching her.

"Danbi?" The husky voice made her turn around.
Chan held a black tote bag in his hand, the new logo for the released single printed across. It was full.

She was a little confused and furrowed her brows before seeing the other members handing out similar bags to her colleagues as well.

"A little present," Chan held it towards her. "And a big thank you. I- we had a lot of fun today." He was fast to correct himself, the red eat a hidden beneath a beanie.

"There is no need to thank me for that, Chan. I had a lot of fun as well. I felt comfortable thanks to you guys in front of the camera." Danbi blushed, taking the bag from him. It was stuffed.

The male couldn't help himself and chuckle, watching her take a peek inside and see her eyes grow wide.

"Felix insisted on putting some of the brownies, he baked last night in there for you to try. The others put also little personal gifts in there." Chan smiled more, remembering how the members rushed to collect the things on the break after recognising her.

"Thank you so much. They didn't need to do that." Danbi pouted and looked up.

"As I said, everyone was incredibly comfortable today. Sometimes that is a bit rare in this job, so we appreciate it very much." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Stop it." Danbi blushed again for the millionth time. But she knew how true it was.

"Can we help you clean up?" The sunshine and second Australian appeared next to the leader, smiling knowingly.

"Look who's here to pick you up." Sohee entered the room after leaving to collect her makeup kit from a different room. They were done with taking down everything, faster than usual with the eight Stray Kids helping them happily.

"Min." Genuinely surprised by the sudden appearance of her older brother, Danbi went over to him to hug him, jumping into his arms.

"What are you doing here?" Danbi looked out to her older brother, who smiled down at the petite woman.

„I was nearby and simply asked if your team was still here." Minho chuckled and ruffled her hair, eating an instant pout. Danbi comed through it with her fingers.

„Will you ever stop doing that?" The older Choi sibling shook his head laughing.

„Love you too, little sister."

Danbi turned around and stopped in her tracks, seeing the surprised faces. Her colleagues knew who her brother was and weren't surprised to see him there. It was important to him to spend as much time as he could with Danbi and that meant picking her up after work and making a surprise visit now and then.

The eight looked from her to her brother and back to her.

"Hi," Minho spoke first, bowing to greet the eight. The eight returned the gesture immediately; left speechless.

"Is this okay for you?" The young leader leaned closer to Danbi. She nodded, smiling at him to reassure him. Both blushed when she squeezed his arm for mere seconds to get it across. She did it without thinking.

The ten currently sat in a private area of a BBQ place, waiting for their dishes.
Minho invited them after everyone introduced themselves and suddenly began a conversation over various topics relating to the industry.

"See it as a way to thank you for helping me at the airport." She smiled.

Chan wanted to say something else when the food arrived, making her squeal in excitement. For that, she earned another round of surprised looks and laughter. Everyone adored her, and felt comfortable in her presence. Especially the young leader.

And it scared him.

They had grown fond of her in a short amount of time.
