It didn't surprise Danbi when she reached the first pair of glass doors of the hallway that lots of reporters and fans were waiting behind barricades. Most of them stood on a ladder to have a better view of to film.

It was loud. Louder than she expected. Her earphones couldn't cancel out everything.

Before the pandemic happened she travelled frequently but never with Idols or other Artists on her flight. She only knew what airports looked like when they travelled from the news.

As someone who struggled with crowded places, she felt bad for them. The fans waiting for them at the airport knew no boundaries. Pictures and videos of Idols being pushed around, dripping and worst falling circled the social media platforms.

Readjusting her backpack Danbi continued to walk towards the glass doors. The bodyguards waiting for the idols behind her watched her closely. It was a group of eight, dressed in designer clothes that currently waited for their bodyguards and manager.

Their faces were covered with masks and hoods from their sweater which made it hard for her to identify them. Keeping her distance at the luggage claim, she collected her suitcase and slowly walked towards the exit.

"Wait."

A hand on her upper arm made her jump while being turned around. What she saw next was a young man. His face was covered by a black mask and a beanie. Only the brown eyes were visible.
She recognized him from the boarding. He was one of the eight Idols. Security watched over him and the seven other men when everyone was boarding the plane.

"You lost this." He opened his right hand. Inside rested the dainty bracelet, Danbi never took off. It was a present from her parents for being accepted at her dream University in Sydney.
Her heart dropped for a moment.

She bowed at the man, reaching for the broken jewellery. "Thank you so much." Her finger graced the soft inside of his palm for a moment before taking the bracelet.
A smile formed under her mask. Danny bowed again.

"Have a safe journey home." The young artist smiled back at her. His eyes formed into half moons. "You too. Please be safe."
The crowd concerned her. She hoped that no one would get hurt while exiting the airport.

For a second there was a glint of surprise in his eyes as he didn't expect this kind of farewell. He bowed. "Thank you. I will try to keep the kids safe."

"Chan."

He looked over his shoulder, his members gestured for him to come back. Looking at Danbi, he seemed to smile again before he went back with a small wave towards her. She watched him for a few moments. He took the laptop from his member and readjusted his backpack. On the pack of the laptop was a taped external hard drive.

Pushing her suitcase next to her, Danbi left the hallway through the glass doors. She kept her head low because the camera flashes. The idols could be seen through the glass doors and the exit hall was filled with shouts.

Her speed increased slightly. Danbi wanted to get out of the airport as fast as possible. The screams increased, signalling that the group entered the hall.

Within seconds Chaos broke out. Fans, mostly girls, broke through the barricades and ran towards them. They bumped into Danbi, not caring about the girl. One of them pushed her with such force to the side that she stumbled and fell.

The side of her body came in contact with the stone floor forcefully. Danbi groaned and squeezed her eyes shut for a moment. Pain shot through her arm into her wrist. The straps of her backpack cut uncomfortably into her neck due to her lying position.

Surrounded by a sea of legs Danbi slowly sat up after a few seconds. No one had an interest in the girl on the ground. The crowd only pushed forward to get to the artists.

"Make space." An angry voice drowned out the screams. It got quieter within seconds. Danbi looked up.

The bodyguards pushed the crowd aside forcefully making the sitting girl visible to the Idols.  The eight of them were quick to reach her.

The leader had watched her leave closely after their interaction. Chan knew what the small moment could lead to after fans could see it clearly through the glass doors. And it did. He didn't mean it to happen.

Following the young woman with his eyes while being surrounded by security, their manager, reporters and fans the Idols saw how the fans carelessly pushed her to the side, eventually making her fall.

These situations always demanded a lot of self-control from him. Seeing his members uncomfortable, being pushed and even falling, made him furious. But Chan couldn't lose his cool and image each time.

Raising his voice he increased his steps to reach her, the other member directly behind him to help as well.

"Are you okay?" He reached out for her forearms and pulled her up, the other reached out as well. Changbin got hold of her suitcase and got pushed away in the chaos.
Felix adjusted the straps of her backpack and Jeongin picked up the phone next to her feet.

Danbi nodded unsurely. Her wrist hurt but other than that she seemed fine. "Thank you." Her voice shook a bit as she looked around.
The other seven stood closely and the two with her phone and suitcase handed them to her.

"Do you have a cap waiting for you outside?"
Her attention moved to the person on her right. His hair was the longest out of the eight. Like the rest of them, his face was covered with a mask.

Danbi almost didn't hear him. It was still loud around them. The bodyguards holding back the pushing crowd. Again, she nodded.

"Then let's go. I will escort you there safely."
Chan signalled the guards that they would start moving again.
