Ivy knew what was coming and she didn't like it , although the good news was that she had booked tickets back to England for awhile so she could go and see her mum and sister once again.
" hey where were you today? I didn't see you at school." Ivy asked as she opened the door to Ian letting him in
"Something came up."
"They gave us homework over the Xmas break. I told mrs.stoltz Jesus Didn't want us celebrating his birthday by fucking Reading. You want the assignments?"
"Nah I just came by to see you."
"Who's at the goddamn door!" Mickey yelled
"It's for me shithead." She replied "got some nitrous , I'll go get it."
She listened in on the convo that was happening between mickey and Ian , Mickey seemed upset during it too which was rather sad .
After Ian walked away from Mickey Ivy went to the door
"I'll meet you outside I wanna talk Ian." Ivy spoke up
"Alright."
"Thee fuck do you want?" Mickey asked as he realised Ivy was staring
"Really? That's all your gonna say to him?"
"I don't know man."
"You know I'm also leaving for a bit. Going to see mum. You can join me if you want."
"Wife will get angry."
"True that, I'll miss you."
"Fuck off Ivy."
Ivy went and hugged Mickey , he fought her but eventually gave in and hugged her back
"I'll miss you to Ivy."
"You're a fucking pussy." Ivy whispered in his ear before going out to Ian
"Hey Ivy I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Not telling you sooner."
"Aye well we both have things to be sorry for I guess , I'm going back to England."
"For how long?"
"I don't know until however long I want."
"Will you be back when I come back"
"Depends Ian, just know that I love you so much."
"I love you too ivy."
"I'm proud of you."
"Thank you."

"You better leave before I become an emotional wreck." Ivy started to cry . It was early in the morning as Ian wanted to leave before waking anyone up , Ivy was only awake because she had a flight to catch soon.
"You are already an emotional wreck."
"Get out now you bastard." She giggled
"I'll miss you."
"Shut up before you make me cry even more, you better look more handsome when I see you next Ian Gallagher"
"I already am handsome"
"Pfttt you wish."
"Okay I'm leaving now that was so rude!"
"You ready?"
"Yep."
Ivy then opened the front door for him
"I love you Ivy." He kissed her forehead before leaving and shutting the door before Ivy could say anything back
"Well I guess it's almost my turn." She cried as she got her note ready and put it on the kitchen counter it read
'Dear Gallaghers
As you would have seen neither me or Ian are home . Ian can explain on his own some day where he wondered off too me on the other hand will be nice and tell you , I'm heading back to England for awhile I'm not sure how long . I'll be back for sure though I can't stay away from this hectic family for too long.
Thanks for everything you guys have done for me since I arrived in 2011 I love you all

She grabbed her suitcase and left the house taking one last look at it
"goodbye Gallaghers I'll see you soon."
She smiled before leaving Chicago and heading back home ....
