It was a few weeks since the kiss with Humphrey and you hadn't been able to look him in the eye since... his head had stayed on his body thanks to the scarf so, he was able to walk around on his own now and get involved more

You were walking in the hall, on the way to sharing club ( one pat had created two weeks ago ) when you bumped into Humphrey ' ooh, hello y/n' he said with a smile

' o-oh hey Humphrey...' you said and then hurried down the hall to sharing club, it wasn't that you didn't like him, the problem was, you had no clue what to say

' you ok y/n? ' pat asked

You nodded slightly and said ' yes thanks. '

You had started settling in more now so you weren't as afraid to speak your mind

' now who wants to start this week? ' pat asked

You thought about it for a while, realising you felt ready to talk about your death

' I- I would ' you said ' if that's ok? '

' of course! What do you want to talk about? '

' ... my death, I'm ready to tell you all'

Pats eyes widened, no one had been able to talk about it this soon, he was worried that it would be too soon

' are you sure? You don't have to? ' pat said as everyone stared at you

Fanny and captain looking worried but intrigued

Julian and robin looking happy because it was more gossip

Mary and kitty looking... well you didn't really know

Thomas And Humphrey looking worried

' ... I'm sure, I don't want to bottle it up! ' you said confidently I'm sorry, it's only so you can all know how she died, if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be having her talk about it

' ok... if you want to stop at any time then please do ' pat said still worried

' well, I had been at home all day, and by the time my boyfriend had got back, I was in bed, he came home drunk, unfortunately there had been a pillow next to me and in his drunk state he thought it was another man... ' you started

You took a breath and then said ' he started yelling and calling me horrid names, he then went and- ... he went and grabbed a knife from the kitchen and then came in and started stabbing the pillow, still thinking it was a man, while he had been doing that, I grabbed a scarf, a coat and my phone and ran, I didn't know how long I'd be out hiding but I knew that I'd need them with it being night time ' you said as tears welled up in your eyes, maybe this was harder than you thought

' you can stop if you want ' Humphrey said

' no... I'm ok, so I ran out the house, he must have heard me because he shouted something and then started chasing after me with the knife, shouting all sorts of things about how I was a slapper and a sl*t... he kept chasing me until we came to a woods... '
