Captain was sitting in food club with the others, not really listening

Why you ask?

He was busy running his hands through Williams ( havers ) hair discreetly

None of the others ( except Humphrey and Alison ) Knew about captain and havers

Captain was sat on the sofa arm while William sat in the seat next to the arm with his head rested against captains leg

Pat was giving a speech about cheese with a giant grin on his face

' and that's why Crescenza cheese is the best cheese in my opinion ' he finished with a smile ' and next week Mary will be talking about how she made her stew when she was alive  ' yeah I couldn't think of anything else

Pat was about to walk off when he noticed caps hand still stroking through Williams hair

Of course he didn't make a scene or say anything but he did decide to ask about it later

Captain carefully took his hand away and stood up, his knees cracking in the process making his wince

' are you alright teddy? ' havers whispered being the quiet man he is

Captain nodded with a small smile that only havers noticed

' fancy a game of chess robin? ' Julian asked with a sigh

Robin grunted excitedly and nodded

The two then started playing chess at their little table

Kitty went skipping off to find Alison while Mary went the other way mumbling about something with a smile on her face

Thomas went to his sighing corner and Fanny went to help Humphrey find his body, only because he had been complaining all day

Pat then went off to do goodness knows what

That left William and captain Who decided to go for a walk round the grounds

Once they were outside they could talk freely instead of having to be just ' the captain and his Lieutenant ' it wasn't that they didn't trust the others, it's just because they were going at captains pace, William was ready to try anything captain suggested and captain was willing to try anything William suggested, captain had asked to keep it a secret so that's what they did

They knew it wasn't illegal anymore because Alison had told them that when she found out
