Chapter 48

Anna's POV
"Hey... Bubs wake up." I whispered.

The computer died out after watching movies and the Den was dark with a crack of light coming through.

My head was throbbing from the pain making me have a headache.

Katelyn didn't wake up so I just went on TikTok seeing the recent one I posted ene viral.

The comments were amazingly supportive. They were saying things about Katelyn at the game but they were good supportive comments.

Today was Valentine's Day and I'm determined to make Katelyn enjoy it at least.

"Hey bubba wake up." I said shaking hr lightly.

I woke up at 8 but let Katelyn sleep in will 9.

Once she was finally awake she sat up turning on the lights.

"It doesn't look bad..." she mumbled taking the tape off piece by piece.

She retained the cuts together while she sat on my lap.

"I'm sorry..." she mumbled.

"For what?" I asked.

"For my psycho ex..." she mumbled putting her head on me.

"It wasn't your fault." I said.

"I want to get this checked out. Can we go to the hospital first?" She asked.

As much as I hated hospitals Katelyn looked really worried.

"Yeah sure..." I whispered.

We cleaned the Den up and drove to the hospital.

"Just keep changing tape over and have these on you. You should be fine in a couple of days." The doctor said.

Looking over at Katelyn she released a big sigh of relief.

I placed my hand over here smiling.

"See. Totally fine." I said and she rolled her eyes smiling.

Once we got out of the hospital we sat in the car.

"Soo... today is Valentine's Day." I said looking over at her.

"No. Anna please don't tell me you planned something..." she whined.

"At least try Cmon." I said pulling up to the house.

We walked in to see Madison and Lola having a full makeout session on the kitchen counter.

"Holy shit!" Lola screamed separating from Madison.

"Little warning next time?" Madison smirked.

"Holy... shit.... your face..." Lola said.

"Yeah. Ashley attacked." I said putting the stuff on the counter.

"Ashley? Wow..." Madison mumbled.

"Hey. Katie you okay?" Lola asked as I looked over at Katelyn.

She was sitting in a recliner zoned out of thoughts. I could see her hands start to tremble a little.

Lola picked up Katelyn's chin making her look at her.

"You didn't get hurt. Thank god." Lola said hugging Katelyn.

"You okay?" I asked Katelyn and she nodded.

"So Valentine's Day has come!" Lola yelled going into her bedroom.
