Saritha sat infront of the dressing table holding Naveen on her lap as the baby tried to place her necklace on his mouth, pouting everytime he couldn't and babble something that sounds repulsive. Saritha chuckled and kiss the affronted baby. Naveen then let out a small cry and started to nuzzle her chest. Saritha chuckled and pat his back.
" Baby ki pasikitha? Cheri da...tho mummy kitte polam," Saritha said placing him on her shoulders and rubbing his back, murmuring sweet nothings as he started crying .
" Aadhira?" Saritha called the girl who was about to walk down the stairs carrying a tray of large yellow flowers. Aadhira's eyes met hers and the girl gave a tiny smile making Saritha shook her head and sigh.
" Unikite urumai le than katiten, matha padi onnum ille, seriya ?" Saritha said smiling softly at the girl.
Aadhira's eyes widen, turned slightly shiny as her lips bloomed. Saritha smiled and then asked the girl to bring Anusha up. Aadhira nod and quickly rushed downstairs.
Saritha bounced the baby on her shoulders trying to reduce his tears. Anusha walked inside and took Naveen from Saritha's arms. The baby instantly rubbed his face against her pallu making her sigh.
" Baby, bottle than iniki ungaluku," Anusha said sitting on the bed and trying to place the bottle into his mouth. Naveen whined and kept averting his face everytime Anusha tried to feed him. Saritha chuckled seeing the baby's face.
" Bottle pudikatha avanuku?" Saritha asked making Anusha sigh and shook her head.
" Apodiye Avanga Appana Mathiri! Irru di naa poi Nelson kitte ivane kuduthutu varen," Anusha said and walked out with the crying baby.
Saritha chuckled and pat her tummy. She smiled slightly as Vaishnavi walked inside with Lakshmi carrying a small box.
" Saritha, box le jewels irruke, potuko," Lakshmi said.
" Yen attai, yerkaname tho potruken," Saritha said making Lakshmi roll her eyes. " Solrethe Kellu di, Vaishu ma iva sonna kekka matta, nee potu udu,"
Lakshmi helped Saritha to sit down and Vaishnavi started adorning the jewels on Saritha.
" Madam vantutanga," Aadhira said rushing up with Anusha.
Lakshmi gave a small nod and pat Saritha's shoulders before walking down with Aadhira and Anusha. Saritha furrowed her eyebrows.
" Ivalo velenaiya yaaru Anni vara ?" Saritha asked.
" Teriyele, maybe Aishu akka va Irrukalam, Seri inthe pendant venuma ille inthe pendant venuma ?" Vaishnavi asked showing a love pendant and a large round pendant.
" Anthe love pendant Anni," she said and Vaishnavi inserted it into the chain and then helped her to wear them.
" Saritha," a soft voice called making Saritha's eyes to widen. She smiled widely, cheeks flushed.
" Akka? Oh-" She placed her hands to her mouth, her eyes welled with tears seeing her mother standing behind her sister. She sniffled and pressed her hands on the chair with Vaishnavi helping her up. Saritha gasped and waddled to her mother.
Her mother gave a short smile and cradle her face wiping her tears. Saritha cried on her arms with her sister patting her back.
" Ninge yepidi ma-" Saritha asked looking at her mother in astonishment.
" Nanga nethu morning vanthom, perima veetle stay pannom appo than ithulam senji yedutu vara mudiyumnu," Saritha's sister told her.
" Saritha wipe your eyes, come sit down." Saritha's mother said bringing her to the dressing room. Her eyes scrutinised Saritha's outfit.
