Chapter 43

Anirudh climbed out of the car and bend slightly extending his hands inside the car. Saritha gave a small smile and grasp his hands before climbing down the car. The crowd was going frenzy behind them. Saritha's eyes widen seeing the message boards fan were holding as they screamed Anirudh's name. Some were a little too rowdy and pushed past the others hollering Anirudh's name, just to catch a hold of him.

Anirudh hold her hands tightly as the guards formed a barrier around them as they walked into the arena.

"Sir over there first.. Sir pre-interview and picture then you can go into the main hall," the organiser informed Anirudh who nod and hold Saritha's waist walking towards the red carpet where Vj Helena were standing taking an interview with Jyotika and Nagma one side and Vj Kelvin interviewing Sneha and Prasana who was holding his son.

" Sorry sir ippo mudinjirum..." the organiser murmured apologetically. Anirudh smiled and waved it off. Saritha tilt her head and reached to his collar adjusting it slightly and smoothing down his wrinkled corner. Anirudh smirked and winked at his wife causing her to turn slightly pinkish. 

Jyothika smiled widely seeing the couple and halted the organisers before walking towards the pair. " Hi! I am so glad to see you here !" She smiled widely and hugged the surprised Saritha.

Anirudh chuckled and shook her hands. " Hi maam, sir not here?"

Jyotika smiled and nod her head. " He will be coming in a while, oh Saritha right, this is my sister Nagma-" Jyotika said and introduced Saritha to the former glam queen. Saritha smiled widely and gave a respected nod to the woman who smiled back. Jyothika grinned and pat her shoulders warmly before turning away and walking to the hall.

The organisers then gestured Anirudh to walk towards the VJ. He turned and hold his wife's hand and walked together. Helena smiled widely and opened her mouth only to be halted by Prasana. " Saritha ! Hi, how are you ?"

Saritha smiled widely and shook his hands. Sneha walked over and exchanged air kisses with Anirudh followed by Saritha who did it perfectly making Sneha to be taken by surprise. She leaned in a whispered " I am so happy for you! Keep up the attitude hon!"

Saritha smiled and Prasana asked about Ravi Raghavendra to Anirudh who said that he will be coming later with his mother. Prasana and Sneha then bid goodbye before walking away. VJ Helena's face faltered seeing the celebrities acknowledge Saritha. Anirudh gave a wide smile and pulled Saritha closer to him making the VJ face to loose its colours.

The cameraman cleared his throat making her blink and then curve out a plastic smile.

" Rockstar Anirudh, it's a pleasure to have you here at Siima 2021! Sollunge how do you feel about it ? Rendu nominations le irrukinge..."

Anirudh chuckled. " Thank you, well it's another year of Siima and this one is going to be extremely memorable and sweet for me. Nominations vanthu well I am glad among to be chosen among all the talented singers and musicians out there so paapom yepidi"

Helena giggled coyly " That's sweet! So what would you like to say to your girl fans out there ? "

Anirudh chuckled and looked at his wife who smiled. He turned his body to face her and gave Saritha a wink before turning to Helena. " I think Mrs Saritha Ravichander answer would be more appropriate and appreciated"

Saritha's eyes widen as her eyebrows knit together as her mouth parted slightly. Her face turned rosy and he held her hand and jerked his chin towards the Mike. When Helena gripped the mike tightly, he glanced at the organiser who quickly snatched the mike and gave it to Saritha.

" Dont worry sir, editing le teriyathu...maam ninge sollunga..."

Saritha sighed and glanced at Helena's face which had turned slightly sour. She exhaled her breath and looked at Anirudh who was smiling encouragingly.
