The mob party was at a manor house in the city, their mission was to survey at the moment as to not escalate the situation.

"What are you doing?" Kate asked as Vienna took her by the hand and lead her into the dance floor.

"You asked me to dance," Vienna smiled softly as she lead Kate through the steps of the dance that the room was doing, "I thought I'd entertain you."

"We have to watch Monroe," Kate smirked, allowing herself to get distracted by Vienna, "you can't watch Monroe if you're busy watching me."

"I'm not watching you," Vienna said, glancing over Kate's shoulder to check on Monroe who was directly in her eyeline.

Making herself invisible while doing her job was the reason Vienna was the best spy and assassin the red room had ever seen. The dance floor was crowded, another two faces wouldn't be seen amongst them, watching the man was easy, not looking like a creep to an already paranoid person was the hard part. Keeping Kate in between them let her watch him without turning her head, even her eyeline barely shifted as she watched him.

Monroe was tapping his foot as he watched his phone. Suddenly, his face lit up from the screen and he took a second to read the notification. He looked up and checked the room before standing and leaving it.

As soon as he couldn't see her, Vienna swiftly stepped past Kate towards the door that he had gone through.

"You really aren't watching me," Kate sighed as Vienna's hand left hers, "where are you going?"

She hurried after the blonde as they followed their target.

"Our job is to watch," Kate said as she tried to grab Vienna's arm only to get shaken off, "this man is dangerous. Let's go and get Clint and your sister."

"And lose him? No way," Vienna said, keeping her stride, "he's right there. We can deal with it now, its one guy, we'll be fine."

"What if its not one guy?" Kate asked, a little worried that she didn't have her bow with her at the moment.

"Then I'll deal with it," Vienna smiled back at her, giving her a little reassurance before rounding the corner.

As her foot hit the floor, an arm came hurtling towards her throat. With a quick step back, Vienna let the knife jam into the wall, kicking his other hand back away from Kate.

Assessing the situation, Vienna pushed the attacker towards Kate so that she could handle it now that they were unarmed. This meant that she could deal with Monroe who was behind him.

Prioritising, Vienna went straight for the gun. They wrestled for a moment before the gun went off and they all froze. Vienna pulled with all her strength to bring the index finger of her right hand to her lips, telling him to be quiet.

Using the force he was putting on her wrist to fight against him, Vienna let go, reeling back and punching his wrist as hard as she could. With the shock, Monroe dropped the gun.

There were two loops on the side of Vienna's dress, attached to those loops was a blade that sat neatly on the outside of Vienna's fist. Without even thinking, Vienna moved forward and created a deep cut across Monroe's abdomin.

"Vienna!" Kate exclaimed, looking up to see what she had done, "what are you doing?"

"Taking him down," Vienna said calmly as she turned swiftly and stabbed Monroe over her shoulder, "What does it look like?"

"You killed him just like that?" Kate asked, frowning as Monroe fell to the floor.

"One life doesn't matter, especially his," Vienna said sharply. Hearing a small noise behind her she hooked the gun on her foot, flicking it up to her hand and shooting behind her, killing another thug coming to attack them. "Or two I suppose."

Kate stayed silent as Vienna passed her to walk back down stairs to join the others.
