• They absolutely LOVE playing Mario Kart and all have set characters. Gon- Yoshi, Killua- dry bones but cat peach when just him and Gon play, Leorio- Donkey Kong and sometimes Waluigi, Kurapika- shy guy. They get really fucking competitive too and play like 30 rounds before they finally give up and agree with whoever wins (usually Kurapika. He's a fucking wii GOD and no one knows why)
• Gon, being the glorified blood hound he is, can smell Leorio's cologne and one day, while the four of them are just chilling he's like "who is wearing that cheap cologne?" Kurapika and Killua don't wear cologne so they just start hysterically laughing because they know it's Leorio
• They all get Christmas, birthday and holiday presents for each other. Gon's are all handmade, Killua's are all gag gifts or super expensive things (no in between), Leorio's are thoughtful and perfect (but cheap), and Kurapika's are usually last minute grabs
• Kurapika and Leorio try to teach Gon and Killua school subjects (math, history, English etc) but it's no use
• Their group chat name:
An arachnophobic bitch, knock off mr. crabs, a green bean, and a traumatized cat
(basically just character descriptions)
• Leorio constantly worries about the other three when they're separated and always calls them, but they usually don't pick up which worries him more
• They're ALL on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds, and sometimes confuse their medications with each other's (Gon and Killua especially)
• When Leorio is on his zoom classes, Gon and Killua love to be distracting, loud, and obnoxious in the background. When he has to unmute, he says "sorry...my kids are being obnoxious again..."
• Kurapika, Gon, and Killua all go to Leorio's graduation and get him really nice presents and he cries because they came to support him without him even telling them when and where it was and he usually feels really unappreciated in their lil group
• Leorio gives free treatment and patch ups to Gon, Killua, and Kurapika, and he even tries to teach them how to do it themselves incase he can't get there in time and they're in a dire situation
