Plan: Make Kai Jealous- In Action

Hyoyeon's POV

I thought about what Yoona said a few days ago. Should I really make Kai jealous? Especially with Lay, one his good friends? Would he be mad at me? I mean, I'm mad at him... After thinking long and hard, I've finally decided.

"Girls! I've finally decided!" I yell as I walk into the living room.

"On what?" Yuri asks.

"Plan: make Kai jealous, is in action," I smirk eviliy. I can see the look on their faces brighten and smile with me.

"First step: get closer with Lay," Yoona says. I nod.

"I can use our similar love of dancing to get closer with him like I did with Kai," I explain.

"Let me text Baek and ask for Lay's number," Taeyeon suggest. I nod. She grabs her phone and texts him.

"Ooo, this is gonna be exciting!" Sooyoung squeals.

"Mmhm," Sica laughs.

"I can't wait to see this drama unfold," Tiffany laughs along.

"He'll see what he could've had," Sunny proudly announces.

I laugh. "You got that right, Sunny," I chuckle. I might be laughing now, but on the inside I know I won't be able to like Lay like how I like Kai.

"HYO!" Taeyeon calls from the living room.

"What?" I call back.

"I got Lay's number!" She yells back. I instantly blush. Aish, you don't need to yell it out Taeyeon!

"Ok, I'm coming!" I yell, heading towards the living room.

"Ok his number is XXX-XXX-XXX," Taeyeon says. I write the number down in my phone and create Lay's contact. Then I text him.

HyoDQ: Hey Lay! It's Hyoyeon from GG. D

That should do it. I turn my phone off and head back into the kitchen. I grab some Pocky sticks as a snack and head back to my room. I feel my phone buzz, but when I checked it, it wasn't Lay.

KaiDK: Hey Hyo, can we talk?

I was complitating whether I should give him a chance.

HyoDQ: what do want kai? R

KaiDK: I just want to talk

HyoDQ: aw, well that's too bad, I don't want to talk. R

KaiDK: hyo please

HyoDQ: I said I don't want to talk. R

KaiDK: I know you're ignoring me

HyoDQ: good, now if you don't mind, can you stop talking to me I've got things to do too. R

I knew my last text was a bit hurtful, but just texting him was hurting me. I didn't realize that I started crying during this convos. I feel my phone buzz again. I check, its Kai. Can he just stop?! He's hurting me even more! I feel my phone buzz again, but this time its Lay. Oh, thank goodness.

UnicornLay: Oh, hey Hyoyeon.

HyoDQ: ok I'm sorry for bothering you, but I kinda need to vent rn. R

UnicornLay: uh, yeah sure go ahead.

HyoDQ: ok, I had the biggest crush on Kai, but I didn't know it until he went out with Suzy and now I'm heartbroken and I don't know what to do and I thought maybe if I talked to someone it would help me get this off my chest. R

UnicornLay: if you want, we can meet up, maybe dance it off?

HyoDQ: yeah, I think that would help R

UnicornLay: ok, how about we meet up and Namil's Bubbles?

HyoDQ: yeah sure, see you there. R

UnicornLay: see you in 10

HyoDQ: bye. R

I turn off my phone and change into some black leather skinny jeans and crop top with a studded jacket (basically hyo's outfit from maxstep)
