Zuma: Hey earth to Ty we need to fix these wires and we only have about half a houws wowth of oxygen left, so huwwy up pup.
I shook my head and apologized and went back to fixing the wiring. It took me about five minutes to fix it and get the hover pads working.
No one's pov
After Ty fixed the wires they got back in the TUZ
Ty: All fixed. I think
Zach: Yeah the last time you said that you immediately drove this thing off a cliff and into the bay.
Ty: Will you just shut up?
Zach growled at him and walked to the opposite side of the TUZ and sat down.
Ty pressed the button again and they suddenly felt a force move them up. But it wasn't strong enough to raise the heavy vehicle. Then the hover pads shut off and the TUZ sank back down to the seafloor
Rubble: What happened?
Ryder [though Robodog]: The hover pads only have enough power to provide a small amount of thrust.
Ty: *thinks* what if I reroute some of the power from something else
Ryder [though Robodog]: That might work
Rocky: But where are you going to reroute the power from?
Ty unscrews a panel under the driver's seat.
Ty: (Hmm let's see... Hover pads no, main power no, comms no, life support no, axillary power no.) Wait that's it I'll redirect the power from the life support systems
Zach, Zuma, and Rubble: WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY?!! WE NEED THAT TO LIVE!!!
Rocky: Think about it we aren't getting any more air from outside all that life support is doing is cleaning a small bit of the air
Skye: And we have the O2 tanks that we can open if we need to
Ty: I'm doing it
Zach: Don't.
Ty: Do you want to drown? Cause I don't and I'm sure the rest of the pups feel the same way.
Rocky: FFFFIHINE
Ty moved to reroute the power, but slipped and slammed his head on the control set.
Zach: *helps ty up* You good bro?
Ty: Yeah just slipped
Ty rerouted the power from the life sport systems to the hover pads and started rising again then they lurched to a stop and started getting dragged down
Zuma: Woah dude what happened?
Rubble: why are we sinking again?
Ty: I don't know. The hover pads are on.
Rubble: Do you have any idea what the problem is?
Suddenly a tentacle grabbed on to the side of the TUZ covering the window then it looked inside
Ty: That.
Zuma: Woah dude that octopus must think we're a snack
"ACTIVATE PERIMETER DEFENCE SYSTEM" Ty shouted as he slammed a button on the control panel
Suddenly the pups heard a low-pitched hum that slowly got louder until there was a high-pitched whirring noise like a giant laser being fired and a shockwave of green energy exploded from the TUZ which stunned the octopus and they were able to ascend again but then...
