Rosie did not succumb to the darkness. She didn't feel her life fade like she expected to. Instead when she opened her eyes she saw the reason why. Up on the balcony behind Stiles was the creature, climbing over the banister as it elegantly moved over it.

Derek loosened his grip on Rosie and finally let her go. After opening his eyes, Stiles looked strangely, along with Erica,  at Derek as they were not aware of the demon behind them until they decided to turn their heads in unison.

The creature screeched before jumping down onto their level. Although moments before Derek had his claws to Rosies neck, he now had moved her to stand behind him. Stiles had too moved himself to use Derek as a human shield but chose to stand in front of Rosie, which she didn't like.

"Stay behind me." The alpha commanded as he readied his claws and clenched his jaw in anger, not fear.

"And you stay behind me." Stiles protectively said to Rosie but she just kept the strong scowl on your face as she moved to stand between Derek and Stiles, like Stiles was the damsel.

"I can heal. You cant."

Derek returned to the creature with a menacing growl, asserting his dominance and power as an alpha. Pushing her out the way, the lizard like beast dragged Ericas body out of his way, knocking her out in the clash between her and the wall.

"Run!" Shouted Derek, pushing Rosie and Stiles away from him and the scaly soul which stood before them. As he tried to protect the two teenagers, the claws of the other sliced his neck.

"Derek, your neck." She called out to him as she rushed to catch him when he inevitably fell. His arm wrapped around her shoulder as she hauled him up while Stiles stood panicked, watching the events unfold and his thoughts being proved wrong. "Stiles! Little help here!"

Stiles aided her with carrying the weight of a large and muscly alpha away from another supernatural being which has the ability to paralyze with one swipe of his talon's. They shuffled him along the edge of the swimming pool while attempting to escape.

"Call Scott." Derek commanded as his feet dragged along the floor, no feeling inside of them. Obeying his command, Stiles grabbed his phone but dropped it in the process of unlocking it, also making Derek fall into the pool with Rosie holding up his weight.

He didn't think once about jumping in the pool after them. Through the ripples, a small feeble girl was seen hauling a werewolf who was twice her size up to the surface but struggling to bring them up to air.

As soon as Stiles was in the water he grabbed Rosie and pulled her to the side of the pool, allowing her to regain her breath , before he could do the same with Derek. His thinking behind this was that he would be unable to save her while holding up a werewolf who could no longer protect himself.

Dereks dark hair was even darker when it hit the divide between air and water, and was able to take in air once more. Holding him up, Stiles began to swim over to the side of the pool, where Rosie was now standing, drenched, while keeping an eye out for the certain creature which was no where to be seen.

Rosie stood bent over, ready to help drag Derek out of the pool where each of them were in a vulnerable state. What she didn't know was that on a wall behind her, the infamous yellow eyes dug like needles into her back.

"Rosie!" Stiles choked out through the water he had inhaled as he saw the thing moving close to her. Instead of reacting like he wanted her to, which was run, she stood up straight and looked around in front of her.

This movement of her posture then allowed the paralyzing claws to slice the back of her neck, making her move her hand to the slit. Her legs lost feeling first and she tumbled onto the floor on her back. She averted her eyes from Stiles' and connected them with yellow ones.

It went onto all fours, crawling over to her immovable body as Stiles splashed the water, attempting to save her life. Although at first it was a pathetic attempt to stop a supernatural being with some swimming pool water at a high school, the creature flinched and hissed. However this only angered it more.

Once more, it crawled over to her and hovered over her body and Stiles did not try again in case it endangered Rosies life. Her breathing withered as she looked up into its eyes, watching it bear its teeth once more as it hissed at her.

More splashing was heard from beside her as she watched Stiles and Derek, though not much effort was from his behalf, scatter to the side of the pool. The being which hovered over her, moved its claws to the side of the pool and growled at Stiles, making both of them move backwards.

"What do I do?" Stressfully, Stiles turned to the werewolf he was keeping afloat for help.

"I don't know but if it was gonna kill her shouldn't it have done it by now." He replied back at a low whisper, in case it caught on and actually went through with the act of killing her.

After the beast finished examining Rosie through his small slotted eyes, it crawled back up the wall since he heard a noice from the distance. Her breathing went back to normal as she breathed out the breathe which she had been holding in.

She licked her dry lips and turned her head sideways, facing the boys floating in the Beacon Hills high School swimming pool. While turning her head, she enabled a tear to fall horizontally down the side of her face.

"Believe me yet?"
