"You're gonna need to stay in bed." Dr Mario announced.

"You have a temperature." (Covid symptoms get a mask, (Y/N) )

Dark Pit sighed.

He was hoping that today wouldn't turn out like this.

"How long will... it last?"

"As long as it lasts."

Dr Mario packed up his medical tools.

"Oof, okay... thanks for the help though, Doc."

Dark Pit gave him a small, grateful grin.

Dr Mario smiled back.

"Anytime."

The doctor left the room.

Dark Pit sunk in to his bed, groaning.

He just had to get sick, didn't he?

He had boba tea planned with (Y/N), for Palutena's sake!

He shot up.

Boba tea with (Y/N).

He can't go.

He rolled his eyes, and picked up his phone.

"It just had to be today. She's the girl of my dreams. Why today. Just, why." He mumbled to himself, whilst typing up a message to one of his most beloved friends, (Y/N).

She was caring, gorgeous, elegant, kind....

Dark Pit loved her with all of his heart.

And it was only the previous day he gathered up enough courage to ask her if she wanted to get tea with him.

Although, he didn't completely ask her out.

Ding!

(Y/N) had messaged the dark angel back.

'Oh, goodness... a temperature? That must be uncomfortable... also, I completely understand that you can't make it to our little afternoon out.'

(Y/N)'s message made Dark Pit smile.

"She's worried, is she?"
