CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

And they did! Nakita kong tumango si mommy.

I just quite myself the whole ride, thinking that someone who possibly the person na naiisip ko ngayon. Lea held my hand slightly which made me smiled at her.

"Are you still tampo, Ate? I'm sorry," Lea apologised in a small tone. I tap her back and kissed her on her forehead.

"I'm not tampo to you, Lea. Napapaisip lang kasi ako kung sino ang taong nakita mo. I don't have any idea who he was..."

"I'm sorry po if I gave you a questionable question." She apologised again. This is one of her attitude that I like talaga, e. She kept saying sorry even though she didn't do anything that bad. But somehow, I kind of didn't like the attitude of her that she felt bad to all the things that she didn't intended to do.

Naghintay pa kami ng ilang minuto bago tuluyang makauwi. Nang makapasok na kami sa loob, nagmamadaling tumakbo sila mommy at daddy sa taas upang maghanda.

I understand if they'll busy after this moment but at least, we already had a moments that I've been waiting for.

"Pasalubong po, 'Nay!" Sigaw ko sa living room upang malaman ni 'Nay Sarah na nandito na kami.

Agad naman siyang lumabas at ngumiti sa 'kin. Nagpunas pa siya ng kamay niya bago niya iabot ang kamay niya upang magmano.

"Nag-enjoy ba kayo?" Nakangiting tanong nito.

Ngumiti rin ako bago tumango. "I had fun, 'Nay! We had fun! And I hope na maulit ito."

Nagpaalam lang ako na ihahatid sa kwarto si Lea. It's already a dinner time pero lahat yata kami busog. After that, nakaramdam ako ng antok at hindi na inisip pang kumain. But I unconciously answered the call when someone's calling me in the middle of my sleep.

"What!" I exclaimed, getting irritated for whoever is this.

[It's Molly!] Sagot pa sa kabilang linya. Pinoproseso ko pa ang narinig hanggang sa agad na akong bumangon.

"So how's Raylene? Is she okay? Kailangan ba 'ko diyan? I can go there!" I heard a sighed from a call. "Hey? Is there something wrong?"

I can't help but to panicked the way how I felt something as if Raylene literally hiding something from us, from me. Too much scenario that slowly playing in my mind which gave me more thoughts na maaaring nangyayari sa kanila.

[Raylene just got sleep right now. And I already did everything to know why pero hindi siya sumagot. I felt that she's hiding something from us.] I arched my brow, nagtataka at napapaisip sa sinabi ni Molly.

"But...But have you noticed something on her?" I curiously asked.

Natahimik sa kabilang linya. Mukhang chinecheck niya ang lahat.

[Wala nama----OH THE HELL!] My eyes widened when I just heard Molly screamed as if she noticed something.

"Hey! Ano? May nakita ka ba?" Kinakabahan kong tanong.

Narinig ko ang paghikbi sa kabilang linya dahilan para mas kabahan ako. I panicked, thinking something na posibleng nangyayari sa kanila. Mabilis akong umalis sa kama. I was about to speak again when I heard Raylene's voice.

[I-I'm okay, Lia. Nilalagnat lang ako.] Bakas sa boses niya ang pagiging hinang-hina.

"But why I heard Molly sobbing?" I asked, getting confused now.
