SCARLET'S POV

"So, what kind of snacks do you have around here?" I asked, turning to face Keaton. I flashed him a toothy grin, and he gave me a crooked smile that made butterflies fly around crazily in my stomach.

"Popcorn, cookies, ice cream; anything you can think of, really," Keaton said with a goofy smile. Is it just me, or does he just get more and more adorable and cute every single second? No, stop Scarlet. Stupid pregnancy hormones..

All of a sudden, I really had a strong taste for cookies,..and salad dressing. I honestly have no clue why, but it just sounded like the most delicious thing in the world at the moment. Maybe it's cravings? But don't you start getting cravings later on in the pregnancy? Oh well, I guess mine are starting a bit early.

Hm..I really want to ask them for some cookies with salad dressing, but I don't know if I should. I mean, how crazy would I sound if I said I wanted some cookies with salad dressing poured on top of them? In reality, it's the most distasteful thing in the world. But right now, it sounds so so so good. Ugh, here goes nothing.

"Uhm er, Keats?" I asked nervously, looking down at my hands and fidgeting with my fingers. Hm, I've been doing that and getting embarrassed and all shy a lot lately. How could this one boy that I just met make me feel like this?

"Yeah, Scar?"

"Can I..uh..maybe have some cookies with salad dressing on top of them?"

Keaton chuckled, and I looked up to see Wes sticking his tongue out at what I had just said. Drew just raised an eyebrow. I couldn't help but giggle at how they reacted. Especially Keaton. He acted as if it were normal for someone to ask for cookies and salad dressing. Or he knew that it was probably my cravings kicking in, and just thought it was worth to laugh over.

"Did you just say cookies with salad dressing?" Wes said, trying to take in what I had just said as he made a disgusted face while trying hard not to laugh.

"Yep, it just sounds really good right now," I admitted sheepishly, as I watched that heart stopping smile make its way onto Keaton's face. Like I said a million times, he is too cute.

"Cravings?" Keaton said with a crooked smile, his blue eyes gazing into my brown ones.

I laughed. "Yeah, probably. So can I have some?"

"Sure, there's just one problem," Drew said, and I turned to face him, confused as I waited for him to continue. "We don't have any salad dressing."

I groaned, and ran my hands through my messy blonde hair. "Are you serious, Drew? Please tell me you're kidding."

I'd probably die if there was no salad dressing to go with my cookies. Literally. I realized that if I'm craving something, I need to have it, because the longing crave for it won't go away until I have it in my grasp. Yeah, sounds kinda weird and creepy, but I don't care at the moment. I need salad dressing! This is a major crisis!

"I wish I was Scar, but I'm not," he answered, obviously becoming amused by my sudden temperament change all due to not having salad dressing to go with some cookies.

"This is terrible! How am I going to be able to eat my cookies without salad dressing?" I was probably totally humiliating myself right now in front of Keaton and the boys, but I really don't care. I. Need. My. Salad. Dressing.

"Hey, it's alright, Scarlet. I'll go down to the corner store and get you some if you want," Keaton suggested, and I couldn't help but run over to him and envelope him in a tight hug excitedly.

"Thank you thank you thank you! Thank you so much, Keats!" I exclaimed happily as I hugged him tight, and I felt his arms wrap around my waist as he hugged me back. I still felt thousands of tingles and sparks running and going crazy throughout my body due to his touch, but I don't care. I'm just so happy that he's going to go to the store and get salad dressing all for me! He's so amazing! Why didn't I just go out with Keaton instead of Jared? I bet we'd be together forever and-wait, who just said that?
