Year X784, November 3rd.

After returning to Magnolia, Amy decides to see Makarov first thing after a good night of sleep. It's has been a long and exhausting trip already, it might even be a good idea to take a break from all those jobs. Especially her last one in Bosco..

While Amy is unpacking, a visitor arrived at her front door.
"Amy! I haven't seen you in forever! Wanna go get a drink at the guild?" It's clear to say it's Levy. She really has a sixth sense for these things.
"Come in Levy. I'm unpacking." Amy yells through the room. She hugs Amy happily.
"Damn, it felt like years! So glad you're back. Tell me all about your journey!" It's like she can barely keep it together, she's almost bouncing around Amy's room.
"I'm sorry Levy, I am really tired. Are you okay if we have that drink tomorrow?"
"Nawh, I have some really good gossip I want to share!" Levy pouts disappointed.

Amy managed to get Levy to agree. Tomorrow would be better. She gets ready for bed when someone knocks on her door, again.
"Who is it?" Amy asks, with slight irritation.
"It's me again, Levy." Levy answers, "Have you seen Juvia by any chance? No one has seen her all day."
"No, I just arrived, two hours ago, remember?" Levy mumbles something to someone and based on the footsteps, she must have gone looking for Juvia.

Amy walks to her door, opens it and yells.
"Please keep it down okay?" She receives an "Okay!" from downstairs and closes her door.

'Finally, my own bed!' is the first thing that comes to mind as soon as she pulls the covers up to her shoulders.

~ within Amy's dreams ~

"What's going on?!" She shouts, but no answer.. Everything is so dark, she can't see a thing. With her arms reached out, there is nothing to touch in this black abyss. Her feet tell her she's walking on grass, or something like that. Amy is desperate to find something she can identify by touch. Carefully she takes another step further into the darkness.
"Why is there no light in here?! What is this place?" Amy is struggling to find a wall or a light. Anything but this icky darkness.. A tear rolls down her face, she is on the edge of a breakdown. The temptation to collapse and cry is massive. Then, out of nothing, a small orb of light appears in the distance. Amy tries to get a hold of herself and starts reaching out for the light, but as soon as she does, the ground underneath her feet disappears. Amy is falling.. Screaming.

~ Reality ~

Amy screams, sitting up straight in her bed, sweating. She's panting,
"What the heck.. was that?.. What.. What happened?" Amy leans over to rest her head in her hands and she takes a few deep breaths, trying to calm down. This might be the hundredth time she had this type of dream. It always ends the same.

"What is wrong with me.." She looks up towards the window. It's not even dawn. She woke up in the middle of the night. Again..

"I sure hope I didn't wake anyone. Especially Erza.." Whilst saying that, the chills crawl down her spine. She steps out of bed to splash some water in her face. When she gets back into bed, her head begins to ache.
"As usual.." she whispers. "When will these nightmares finally stop?" are her final words as she lays down to get back to sleep. Hoping the headache is gone by morning..
