“I can’t find the earrings which I had chosen for this dress”. My sister whined from somewhere in the room.

“Krish, give me ten minutes and I will help you search them but first finish your makeup”. I scolded while the makeup artist was doing my eye makeup.

She groaned and sat on the chair beside me.

“Krish, stop whining we will find them or you can have mine which are similar to yours”. I comforted my sister.

“But they are yours”. She whined.

I rolled my eyes mentally and sighed.
“Can you please hold on a second, please?”  I said to my makeup artist.

“Sure”. She said with a polite smile and took a step back so that I can push the chair and get up.

“I am sorry”. I apologized to the artist and rummaged through the jewelry bag we had in the room.

“Here” . I said to my sister while handing her the earrings she was looking for.

Confused? As to what is happening? So today is our (mine and Tyler's) wedding day, it’s being around a year we are engaged and we are getting married today on 30th December as per Hindu tradition and we will be getting our Christian ceremony on 2nd January.

We had spent seven months in India and worked there and that’s when we decided to get married at this time of the year as it would be perfect for everyone I mean Christin and Amy would have delivered their babies, also there would be no exam season so my cousin and siblings would enjoy the wedding too without having a burden of their exam.

You might be thinking why am I getting the exams in the middle of a wedding so my cousins and all my sister’s had strictly told me that they want to enjoy the wedding so we can marry whenever we want except the exam season which is mainly in February and March plus we had always thought our marriage in December as we both loved this month a lot.

So let’s take a glimpse of what happened when we were planning the wedding.

March, the wedding planning.

We had a family lunch with everyone the kids, the adults, and us. Sadly, Christin and Ams couldn’t join as she was six months pregnant but they were on a Skype video call also my other two best friends from T Squad joined Christin and Amy on the call.

“Indonesia is the great option too”. Michelle said.

“Why not Hawaii?” My mum said.

“Or Thailand?” Maddison argued.

My dad sighed at the ladies who were arguing about the location of the wedding.

“Indonesia”.

“Hawaii”.

“Thailand”. They all said at the same time.

All my cousins were tired as they were constantly arguing for the past one hour.

“Ugh”. I groaned under my breath and rolled my eyes.

I looked at my cousin sisters Preeti, Heer and my sister Krish they were busy taking selfies ignoring the fiasco.

“SHUT UP!”  Tyler exclaimed cutting the debate short.

No one ever saw him that angry except the T Squad, Christin and Amy saw his real anger which made everyone quiet down with their mouth agape and they were like statues and we’re stuck in the position they were in.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down before he spoke again.

“I know you guys are excited and all, you care for us and everything but we don’t really want to go all bizarre, we want a simple wedding and about the venue as Nick Jonas said ‘why can’t I take my bride from her home India?’ I want her to take her from India and I want a wedding in Mumbai because she loves this place so much”. He said with a huge smile and one could see the love oozing out was out of pure love.
