Oh what joy
To open up and be free
To share all the secrets that you keep
To expose yourself and have a conversation so deep
that every fiber of your being is plunged into the darkest seas
To float up out of the depths into the skies above
all the way to the stars and heavens that shine brighter than loveOh what joy
To be yourself when you are not alone
To bare your soul and for all your sins atone
To breathe as if from your lungs was removed a heavy stone
that blocked your passageways for every moment you have ever known
To burden another with all that you have done
and see that your wrongs have hindered them noneOh what joy
To know these sensations
To exclaim in celebration
To shout at the top of your lungs with no rebukation
and never to fear any form of denigration
To free your mind of all that clouds it
taking hope and expanding infiniteOh what joy
To dream that it were true
but reality is overdue.
