Oh lady of the night, where have you gone this day?
Why have you left me with a jewel that decays?
Where will I turn to when I lose faith?
My bed, once warm and cozy now a prison I cannot escape.
Won't you stay with me, that's all I pray.
Fill me with your love, please don't go away.
Lie to me if you must, but spark my heart alive from this dust,
Or distract me with your animalistic carnal lust.
Do anything to quiet the winds as they gust.
If only for a while, close my eyes and lend me your trust.
Cover up my invisible wounds before they rust,
And let me lay my lonely head on your welcoming bust.
