Adieu, adieu my sweet summer fool.
I bid you adieu without love too.I may think of you from time to time,
But not how you want me smiling wide. There will be laughing and grins and joy
When I am far from your plots and ploys -
When I'm flying high doing my dance
Without fearing the whims of your chance.Come to me another day, not today,
And I may be so kind as to pray
For the light to come and shine your way.But today, stay away - far away -
So that I may not add rash murder
To my pristine paper resume.
