Is this merely something we must get used to -
To see grand entrances and share wondrous delights
Only to find exits resplendent in their negligence? Is it merely a symptom of welcoming life -
To live between moments of mutual memory
And brace oneself for new beginnings every time?Is there merely no such thing as company complacent -
To carry continually from edge to borderline
Where both ends come together into the nether -
tethered forever?
