Two people telling me
what to do isn't enough
I gotta add a third?
What
I can do what I want
after I start living my life?
What
Just cause I'm single means
I ain't even alive?
What
With this logic I apply
My head ain't even right?
What
Just cause it can't be denied
it's oppression
so keep it simplified?
What
Just cause you didn't do it right
when you started your life
you get to dictate mine?
What
I don't know if you get it yet
but I ain't trying to start a fight.
I'm just saying let me live mine, a'ight.
I'm just saying
you don't always have to be right
'cause you ain't and that ain't a lie.
Why
Keep bringing in your position
and what you did before I even breathed a sigh.
It's like
You don't get that forever is a fiction of finding out
whatever you didn't know about
before your eyes ever felt a cry.
Like
Why do I even try to argue in the light
when all you do is cry because you can't control what I do
and what I don't like?
Get hype
I'm just living my life like I wanted to ever since I opened my eyes
after I realized the true colors of criminals ain't just black and white stripes.
Right
So let it go
Breathe a sigh
Not because you need a light
But because you realize
That I've been living my life now for a while
So quiet down
Let it go
You don't always have to be in control
There's only one of you in this world
There's a billion others around the globe
From Carolinas to Peru, Amsterdam, and Angola too
I don't know what to tell you but I do know that it's not cool
Territorial in your interlude like terriers preying Reynard to hurt
I'll end up worse than the cursed at Rapture getting carried away in a hearse losing their passports
You never got insured and now your bank account's about to burst into flames like a wicked game that came trickling lame-faced down the drain from out of town for a while to do what is right in this life like a simple light ignited at night

It ain't that hard to get
Right?
